I already have money in the market through locked in RRSP.And I would love to take it out the hands of the freekin lazy ass good for nothing useless 1% and do some real investment for myself! WWWTT

Holy freeeeeeekin holy man I never heard anyhting so completely made up and freekin spun on this site!?!?!?! Man thats freekin hallarious. If a judge throws out a case where there is evidence that "may" prove guilt, the crown can essentially complain and the judge will find themeself out on the freeekin street? Man thats freekin funny! Do you sincerely believe this? Where did you here this from? How old are you buddy? WWWTT -

Yes I work for a living buddy!I am the freekin boss!I make decesions all the freekin time! What does your comment add? What are you saying? Are you saying that there is always someone above me and I have to listen to that person regardless of what they are saying?Right or wrong? And now somehow I can completely dismiss my knowledge and entire life experience and throw it out the freekin window like as if it never meant anything?!?! Man how am I going to debate anything with someone that comes up with such a week and feeble argument? I give up WWWTT -
I have an inflated sence of self? And you claim that you have doubts about what I am telling you to be true? And your telling me about inflation?Your telling me that subsidized(by the taxpayer) corporations(government grants) created car/home insurance and the food I need to eat and fuels so I have to now pay a higher price for them, but somehow these same corporations are getting corporate tax cuts(thanks lib. and con.)and making record sky freekin high profits they deserve it? Do you actually read what I am writing?Do you listen to what people are saying?Actually do you live in this world?Or does mommy and daddy still give you an allowance? Why do you think it is wrong for people to try and improve their life and the country they live in?Why man why!?!? WWWTT

How did you come to this evaluation Mr.Canada? When my parents came to Canada in 1959 from Sao Miguel Azores Portugaul they didn't have a freekin nickel! What they did have was a work hard ethic, dedication and some witts! My parents with what little they had made a fantastic contribution, helped build this country(literally) and were rewarded handsomeley for their efforts. But times have seriously changed.I have twice the work ethic they had and I'm not seeing the results they did. The cost of living is way way high! Gas,heat, cable, phone, insurance, hydro, taxes(fedral, provincial, municipal, sales, capital gains etc etc)food, transportation, cell phone, banking fees, etc etc etc. Everyone responsible for supplying the above services-except the government is racking up record profits! Why!?!? Why am I freekin bustin my freekin ass off so that these corporations can see record profits!?!?!Why man why?!?!?! I am fortunate enough because I have references to somewhat gage how living standards have dropped in this country over the last several decades. Just because you can't find/use/recognize/care about how the standard of living has dropped in Canada doesn't mean its not happening. And another thing if you don't want to help the people trying to improve this country then get out of the way buddy and let those who care about the future of Canada do something constructive! WWWTT

You say you understand what I am getting at but you have me lost now. Judges in Canada have already told parliament to change the marihuana laws because they are unconstitutional. Does C-10 somehow change the constitution or adress marihuana laws? I thought it only has to do with sentencing "after" there is a guilty plea/verdict. I could be jumping around aswell a bit on this topic which is making it more confusing, sorry about that. I still believe C-10 will push Canadian judges to continue dismissing marihuana related cases and Harper will have to eventually admit defeat and backtrack. Now as far as plea bargaining goes it could become a thing of the past after C-10 and every accused may start their trial with a plea of not guilty. This will definetley fill up the court scedule and further leed to more dismissals WWWTT -
Actually there are several right wingers here that do not feel it is neccessary to call others names and keep the debate civil and fair for others to participate! I personally will not debate with you because of the tone you chose to use! Good luck buddy! WWWTT

Actually from what I hear, judges are dismissing cases. When a judge throws out a case there is no sentence. Aswell I believe judges are dismissing cases(in part) because the minimum sentence does not reflect reality. Every time a judge dismisses a case(or any other ruling) this case can be used in future rulings. In other words C-10 is pandoras box waiting to be opened. WWWTT -
I guess the moderators will keep this in mind when they deal with all the complaints they receive about you. Good luck buddy. WWWTT

Really??? Thats odd? Actually I should clarify that I am talking specifically about marihuana laws. And judges have already ruled that the current laws do not reflect reality. The conservatives as far as I am aware are ignoring them(judges) and are making the sentences(marihuana related laws) more harsh. I guess this is something you do not have an opinion about or do not want to weigh in on. WWWTT -

I believe a judge can apply a lesser sentence or the maximum sentence. However if I am wrong and a judge must apply the mandatory sentence then people charged with various possesion/cultivation/traffiking offences will plead not guilty(this is already the case and judges have asked parliament to change/eliminate/amend marihuana laws). In other words there are many example cases that can be reffered to where the current criminal law has been deemed to be unconstitutional. If you think the conservatives can reverse/erase Canadian judges recomendations and previous court rullings, then I believe you do not fully understand how our justice system works. WWWTT -

What? The laws already call for jail terms and judges are refusing to apply stiff sentences. What makes you think making the sentences more harsh will convince judges to apply them? All the conservatives are doing is ignoring the recomendations the judges are asking parliament to make. The conservatives are knowingly wasting tax payer dollars! Which is typical for politicians who don't care how they spend tax payer dollars! WWWTT -

In most cases what I have stated is true. With a little research I can provide examples(no time now sorry). An example off the top of my head would be the California election result banning gay marriage and then later bein overturned by a Cal. judge! The same is happening right here right now with marihuana laws! But the courts move like freekin turtles, soon enough Harper will be backtracking on his various pieces of legislation, patience my friend patience. WWWTT -

Actually allowing someone to promote hatred and violence would be guilt through assosiation not free speech. WWWTT -

WWWTT replied to jacee's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Not at all What I am stating is that human and constitutional rights are not dependant on elections or opinion polls. Therefore an opinion poll about decriminalization or gay rights would have no impact on the definition or interpretation of the constitution or what human rights should be! In other words my rights can't be voted away! WWWTT -
The Harper government's new best friends: Mao's heirs
WWWTT replied to Shwa's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
There is logic in what your saying Actually in the US the government for the last 20 yrs seems to change hands for economic reasons. And for some reason the government in power in Canada seems to be terrified of having an election immediately after a US one. So there does appear to be some kind of political link between our two countries. It can be argued that if there was complete disassosiation/unrelated between our two countries it would be considered to be even more odd and unlikely! So therefore I disagree with you! WWWTT -

Yep pretty much. Aswell the courts have real issues that are of a higher priority such as violent crimes, sex crimes,family/spouce abuse, fraud and white collar crimes, etc etc. There is only so much money to pay for so much and the justice system will prioritize the cases. I remember in Ontario back in the early 90 literally thousands of cases were thrown out because people were denied their constitutional rights to a speady trial! The conservatives will cause this to happen again but for some reason most of the people here can not phathom this reality? WWWTT -

You watch your tongue buddy! The Chinese people helped build this country! They have made a tremendous contribution to to our civilization! Harper just happened to realise that kissing Americas ass unconditionaly may have some drawbacks so he is starting to backtrack. God forbid another Republican ever gets elected into the white house in 2012! Harper will be so excited to kiss their ass it will turn off Canadians so much they'll turn of their TV's in disgust! What about pills?Or best of all fatigue? Fatigue is the number one reason for driver error! Actually its the fatigue caused from alcohol consumption in some cases that is the demon! Don't get me wrong I am not saying that any testing should be dismissed, just saying that this issue is much more involved and has a wide scope. WWWTT -

Your wasting your time dre. I predicted this when I first came on to this forum and nobody here seems to have any understanding how our justice system works and how judges interprit the constitution and previous court trials and findings etc etc. The courts(judges) in Canada pretty much dictate the direction the justice system takes. The only way of changing that would be for the government to make a constitutional change. And thats not going to happen guarenteed! WWWTT
