Yes I am sure there have bein a few here and there,but someone that is 2.2m is very rare. I doubt olpfan1 knows anyone that tall,I don't thats for sure.Maybe the tallest person I know is 205cm or 2.05m.Myself I'm 171cm. WWWTT

This aswell is misleading. Many tradesman still use the imperial system of feet and inches. But any signifigant projects are designed with metric and all the prints/shop drawings are in metric.In Ontario the building code requires that all engineerd drawings be in metric. Any metric tape out there has both metric and Imperial which can be a little troublesome when trying to use your tape exclusively in either format but convenient for converting.(you can get tapes imperial only and imperial/metric,but I can't find a tape measure metric only) WWWTT

This is misleading. It would be more accurate to say that the metric system is based upon our numerical system(which incorporates the use and value of the numeral zero and the decimal system),the distance from the Earths equator to the North pole and the weight of water. WWWTT

I believe that it is alleged the conservatives did not want the voters to turn out(assuming that the voters would vote against them)by spreading misinformation through robocalls. Therefore less than 40% of the electorate turnout on election day(in select ridings) would favour the conservative vote tally. Olpfan1 I believe is still on topic about this one. WWWTT

You are looking at this wrong. In the last election the membership numbers pulled out a strong vote=efficiency. With a signifigant greater membership role call the turnout at the next election will be greater still! Aswell this is just another indicator that the momentum is still strengthening for the NDP,not weekening! If I was a liberal or conservative I would be very concerned. WWWTT

Yes it would be impossible to completely control/dictate what someone thinks/believes. But in China religion is not promoted.And(according to my wife) the government discourages relighion.I believe it is tolerated and allowed,there are budhist temples there and very old Catholic churches(I visited the oldest Catholic church in China on an island in the south China sea near Behai)These churches are maintained and repaired for historic reasons but I am not even sure if they even have catholic priests holding mass. I attended mass at a catholic church in Macao(in Portuguese too) but I am not sure how the Catholic church or other sects of Christianity operates on the rest of mainland China(I asume the church operates freely in Hong Kong as in Macao). I know there is a region in Bejing that is muslim and there are mosques there. But my wife and her family does not care for religion. I would like to point out aswell too that the degree that people take their religion in China is much less fanatic!That is the ones that still practise Budism. WWWTT
