Yes it was! In actuall fact the Soviet Union/Russia has endured countless more terrorist(from Islamic extremists/militants) attacks than the US ever will! Even during the summer of 2011 there were terrorist attacks in Moscow and other parts or the country! Ever heard of Chechnya?Is it coming back now? Was Osama bin Laden,Al Kaida,the Taliban and probably a few other groups in Afganistan not terrorists?Were they not using terrorist tactics against the Soviets and the Afgan government/people at the time? When you use terrorism against your percieved enemy guess what?Its still terrorism! And when you support terrorism you are walking a very fine line of morality! No he does not! When he speaks in English he gasps when he inhales between sentences and his rythm is off. I am not fluent in French and there is always an interpreter translating making it difficult for me to focus on his speech pattern in French so therefore I have bein not able to establish yet if he has the same problem with French. Good for you Cyber you disagree with me! This is something I feel strongly about because one of the biggest tasks the NDP leader will have is appealing to new voters.Or in other words the new leader of the NDP will have to convince those who have not voted NDP in the past to do so in the future. Holding on to the current level of support is very important aswell!But in politics it is very common knowledge that if your support is not growing then it will be shrinking,there is no in-between! Keep in mind that Jack Layton had time to grow into his position,and the same approach should be taken for the next NDP leader! Either way its my opinion,and I have success with my belief and course so I see no reason to fix something that works better then expected! WWWTT

Then you are not properly listening to the speech mechanics. Both Mulcair and Ashton gasp/inhale between sentences.When you have an opportunity take special notice and focus strictly on the mechanics of speech as opposed to what they are saying. This bad habit can be very annoying and turn people off! I also believe that a contributing factor could be that the speaker is trying to convey too much info in what the speaker may percieve to be too short of period of time and so the speaker over compensates. For me quality of voice,speech and the rythm of speech are very important qualities! Don't believe me?Ask Stephen Dion the importance of rythm and mechanics! WWWTT
