  1. All these terms that are bandied about here, losers, hate, etc. It's time for some to get a life. Is Harper a loser because over 62% of the vote was against him last election, which is basically what the polls are indicating today by-the-way?
  2. And who has run up the biggest debt and deficits in Canada's history? Hint: It wasn't the NDP.
  3. This ad looks like it will be effective. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzoLVNs1eGI
  4. Focusing on job creation in Canada.
  5. Majority rules. That is all that matters.
  6. Which is the lowest voter turnout rate in a general election since Confederation.
  7. Liberals sure can announce a lot of programs with the rollback of these corporate tax cuts.
  8. Of course parties with the majority of seats should rule. That's a given. What's Harper's plan for his next minority? Continue to fight with the majority of MPs and cause another election?
  9. And who is saying it is. Parliament works by majority rule, and the last time I checked no party had a majority. But if two or more parties can work together and get a majority of votes they rule. What's not to like?
  10. Once the votes are counted on election nite, and the number of seats decided for each party, that's basically it for the voters' input. Then it up to the MPs to decide by majority rule who is going to do what. If two or three parties get together and can command the majority of votes they rule. How is some party that only received 38% of the vote and does not have a majority of seats considered the will of Canadians? Answer: It isn't.

  12. You got it right TB.
  13. Bryan, You already posted this poll yesterday in post #151. I guess you must have really liked it. I'm not familiar with Forum - what is their track record like?
  14. The only thing that's worked is Harper has now been exposed as a hypocrite, and Duceppe has clearly been scoring points calling Harper a liar. It's that trust issue again and it will cost the Conservatives their chance for a majority.
  15. No one believes Harper any more on this file. Just about every journalist in Canada it seems is coming down on him hard. It's over, dead in the water, and it's backfired on Harper as some people here have said it would from the beginning. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/opinions/opinion/smoke-mirrors-and-a-harper-majority/article1960537/
  16. It was 2 to 1 against Harper, and now it is 3 to 1 against Harper. Harper should quit while he is ahead on the coalition issue, or is he ahead any more. This definitely now does not look good for Harper.
  17. This coalition talk has now clearly backfired on Harper and he is starting to lose on this issue now. Maybe Harper should be asked to take a lie-detector test.
  18. That's a really good point TB particularly in light of all the comments that are being made about the dos and don't of minority governments.
  19. That trust issue again folks.
  20. Yes Bryan, Angus Reid (Vision Critical now) are quite good as well.
