Students Asked to Leave CPC rally in London
Harry replied to Dave_ON's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
You guys really are a hoot. An NDP supporter with Ignatieff's pic on her facebook page. At least try and get a credible story to spin. Harper's fingers are caught in the proverbial cookie jar here, and there is no way Harper could weasel out of it, and that's why Harper apologized. It's not complicated, just plain and simple over the top Conservative strong arm tactics which backfired. -

When even this guy writes about how bad it is, there is definitely a problem. -
What is this joke day at the Conservative corral? Show us the documentation Mr Harper because many of us don't believe it is worth the paper it is written on, if it exists at all that is.
-
How could anyone possibly believe Harper's promises to end the deficit because: What an absolute disaster the Conservatives are when it comes to sound economic planning. All their projections are lies, lies, and more lies. Harper is on a mission to bankrupct the federal government, and if he gets re-elected he may well accomplish his goal.

This thread and the opening post are an abomination and really quite sad to see here at Mapleleafweb. -

It is this kind of disgusting inuendo that does Harper in, and reduces the Conservative's re-election chances more than anything else. Some folks are drinking too much tea at their parties. -

There is no confusion. Awish Aslam was tossed from a Harper rally. After several days of the Conservatives going off message Harper apologized. It has been so damaging to Harper's campaign that now he has even agreed to meet with her. -

It obviously was detracting from the Harper's campaign message and it smacked of intolerance which the Conservatives need like a hole in the head. -

Maybe anyone wearing jeans should be the next group to be barred - this is what this kind of thinking can lead to. At least Harper realized that his campaign is being damaged by this dumb Conservative behaviour, and that is why today Harper apologized for it. -

Internal polling was obviously telling the Conservatives they were losing on this issue so Harper is now apologizing for throwing people out of their events. Nothing like a little incentive to make people do the right thing. -

This thread title smacks of Conservative desperation, another example of gutter politics, and Canadians already tired of this US approach to politics, will probably end up punishing Harper on voting day for this. -

The Nanos poll results this morning which show Harper no further ahead than he eneded up in the last election probably means that the only people in Canada that give a hoot about all this silly and absurd coalition talk are the people here at mapleleafweb.
