Conservatives are going into a no-win situation with this. Planting the seeds of doubt and letting imaginations run wild with a little help from the opposition will probably be much more damaging than the actual report.
If this thread is the best the Conservatives can do they may actually be in a lot more trouble than I realized.

Grasping at straws again is a sure sign of desperation. Perhaps this is supposed to distract from the breaking news of possible Conservative illegal activities in relation to the G8?
Political parties have corrupted the political process. The only solution is to abolish political parties and that is not going to happen anytime soon.
I think the NDP has a point here. There is no bigger group of useless people in the country than our unelected Senate. Let's abolish it once and for all.

Close but no cigar perhaps. I don't think it quite that close but this will definitely stampede some Canadians to the oposition parties, which is perhaps the intention of the forecaster. Who knows the games people play.

Here is a similiar example, they used to be called SES, to what they they are presently projecting, which occurred during the 2006 election campaign.
