I wouldn't say that... Remember, Canuk (unbeknownst to most Canadians) "support" in and for the the Iraq war came in #4 behind those 3 in the "Coalition of the Willing", which Canada wasn't in... We were "actively involved", most Canadians just didn't know it or care... But the people on Hannity did after I edjumacated them a bit on the subject... In FACT I converted a couple of staunch "anti Canadians" into becoming very "pro Canadian" that would jump on people when they started "bashing" Canada with those same FACTS I gave them... Like I said, GREAT FUN... I even got 3 "old TIMErs" on the Hannity for'ems banned after they "stepped over the line" too often taking me on... I wear that as a badge of honour... A lot of U.S. Military there, and most of them were "good people"... A couple of them though were pretty "radical", to be kind, but it ended up they were the ones I had the most FUN with...

Truth be told, better Cuba than GB in a lot of cases... Yet when coming to Canada GB Docs get a pass while Cuban (or from almost anywhere else) Docs drive taxis or work construction... Kinda seems like a bit of wasted talent to me...

That's a really sad statement about how the Harper Government operates even if it's only remotely true... It certainly fits in with everything coming from Harper re world affairs and Israel, including the events in Egypt which overthrew Mubarak... Having said that how KAIROS can be seen as being "anti-Israel" escapes me totally... - KAIROS unites eleven churches and religious organizations in faithful action for ecological justice and human rights. - On the other hand defunding KAIROS would seem a rather stupid move in Canada's political climate... With the way Harper spends money like a drunken sailor to do something like this makes absolutely no sense other than the reasoning I gave in my earlier post... An EXTREME right wing agenda would seem to be at play here...

Very sad but quite an accurate analysis... The Fascists main weapon initially are not Guns and knives but their "propaganda machine"... The American extreme right has that in FoxNews and rightwing talk radio, plus certain print media of course, and now Right Wing Blogs and sites like the Hannity Forums which I've spent considerable TIME on a few years back during the Bush Era...

Well, yes and no... Considering who KAIROS funds; In the current political climate a "frontal", OPEN, denial of funds to them could have negative political repercussions for the CONS that deny the funding... Conversely I'm sure that Harper himself and the more extreme "right wing" members of the CPC would be against such funding as a matter of principle or for econonic or budget grounds... A bit of a "catch 22" one might say... One could therefore reasonably conclude that all this was done "on purpose" to have "plausible deniablity" in the matter of DEFUNDING KAIROS... Getting "caught" in this manner wasn't part of that plan... At least that's my take on it...
