  1. Bullets that won't shoot at a human would be genius! Gun nuts go crazy, stockpile as many weapons as you want, oh and you can only have smart bullets. Of course police and military personnel would have normal bullets.
  2. That's a terrible comparison. The crimes committed are in this country. By your logic our police should fly to Colorado and arrest people for Marijuana possession? This is what people don't seem to understand there are more than 30+ organizations that operate in Iraq that have many of the same views as ISIS. You won't beat them. These people have to change for themselves, shoving our views down their throat only radicalizes more people. Are you comfortable putting Canadians lives at risk for a lost cause? You contain ISIS now and as soon as the coalition of forces leave there will be someone else that rises up. Waste of money. Revolutions have to happen on their own.
  3. See, you can't admit you're wrong. Doesn't change the fact that you were wrong. I'll hold you to that. Only to see if you're wrong and if you'll admit it.
  4. I never stated anything in that sentence, that is a question. Notice the question mark at the end of the sentence? No, I haven't. You have, again. You have an extremely hard time admitting you're wrong don't you? I never said anything about the last several years, when the price of oil and Canadian dollar were higher. I said November, 2014. We'll see.
  5. I guess you can't do better. Oh well I tried.
  6. Is that not the point of this forum?
  7. That's not a value, that's a policy. You can do better BC.
  8. I never argued against it possibly rebounding. I argued that in November 2014 the entire manufacturing sector had a decline. The link confirmed it. You have been proven wrong.
  9. Your half right. The manufacturing industry is in a decline because of oil industry related manufacturing. That is the manufacturing sector as a whole is in decline, for the month of November. http://www.bnn.ca/News/2015/1/30/Canadas-economy-slumps-in-November-as-factories-energy-sector-hit.aspx
  10. Yeah, duh. Hey... BC2004... what's a negative American value?
  11. Elect a Bush once shame on you. Elect a Bush again... also shame on you.
  12. Well at this point it's posting a decline on the manufacturing sector as a whole for November 2014.
  13. They are without a doubt some of the larger portions of the GDP. But I still don't think you understand that the MFG sector as a whole was in decline in November and the real estate market could stand to take a hit as well. Because of the dollar, because of oil prices.
  14. They obviously just picked the two cities with the largest populations.
  15. Meh I could care less about the pipeline. But another Bush? Why?
  16. I already did. But I'll humour you. Those people that are hired by the oil industry spend money on all other sectors of the economy. They make up a large portion of the middle class. When they don't spend their buckets of cash on things the GDP of those other sectors drops. The oil companies themselves spend money on the manufacturing sector, when they aren't spending as much money on the manufacturing sector, it's GDP drops. Understand?
  17. Well no they obviously have no oil industries in those cities. But the manufacturing and financial sectors are being effected by oil. Toronto may see a rise while Alberta implodes but only time will tell at this point. http://business.financialpost.com/2015/01/27/will-oils-big-drop-pop-canadas-housing-bubble/
  18. No you are not, because you obviously don't understand how that 8% effects the other 92%. You've made that fairly evident.
  19. Well no because those eggs are still in the Oil basket as it's those working in the oil sector that increase the housing bubble and it's the oil sector itself that is effecting the manufacturing sector. You still don't understand the way money flows from that 8% to the other 92% do you?
  20. Denial is more than just a river in Egypt. Can you explain how this works to Derek 2.0 he seems to not understand how the flow of money through an economy works.
  21. That the price of oil effects more than just 8% of the economy. Hence eggs---->basket.
  22. It's already happening to other Oil companies http://business.financialpost.com/2015/01/27/brace-for-capex-cuts-across-the-board-as-oil-companies-kick-off-q4-releases/?__lsa=872d-9bf5
  23. So why is the Canadian economy slowing? Could it be oil? I guess Derek 2.0 is better economist than any of the analysts hired by JP Morgan. Looks like they think the price of oil is having a negative effect on more than just 8% of the economy.
  24. http://www.vancouversun.com/business/economy/Canadian+bank+stocks+take+dive/10774439/story.html Even Sun news recognizes the effect oil is having on our economy.
