  1. Isn't his half-brother Jewish? http://www.timesofisrael.com/no-were-not-a-normal-family-says-obamas-jewish-half-brother/
  2. Well technically it could effect Assisted Suicides of people who are terminally ill by just replacing their bodies with new ones. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Still on topic. Thank you very much for your co-operation. We may see a separate Body Donor sticker on our health cards in the future. Were recently deceased people will be frozen and prepared for transfer for terminally ill patients to be given a second chance at a not so normal but healthier life.
  3. Exactly Kane's time in Winnipeg was done, he's Buffalo's problem now. Gooooood riddance.
  4. Same person different body I think. You may want a body that is the same to avoid the body rejecting the head so to speak. You can bet that the religious types will be all over that. I think it's kinda neat, creepy, but neat.
  5. It's just like BubberMiley said, the Jets have acquired pieces that can help them now. Kane won't be back until next season and will most likely not be the same player after shoulder surgery. Myers has been contributing in every single game he's played since being acquired, and Stafford has been playing great. Time will tell but the Jets have not moved in the standings and Buffalo still sucks.. sooo
  6. I'm sorry but a collection of books from around 2000 years ago is not ample evidence, it might be for you and that is fine. I am not a member of any religion. But I am somewhere between an atheist, agnostic or a deist. I tend to change my mind frequently. Right now as of today I'm leaning toward a more atheistic lack of belief in any one god or gods.
  7. Argus is right. Although I was looking at some figures.. http://www.med.uottawa.ca/sim/data/Marijuana_e.htm It is said that our country, Canada, produces 2.6 million kg of Marijuana annually which is the equivalent to 2.6 billion grams. The average street price is roughly $7-10 a gram, obviously goes down when buying bulk but for hell of it lets just say we price every gram at $7. 2.6 billion grams x $7/gram = $18.2 billion dollars annually. Now obviously these figures can't be 100% right but you get the just of it. It is also said on the same page that the annual consumption by Canadian users is roughly 770,000 kg, which is about 770 million grams. 770 million grams x $7/gram = $5.39 billion Based on those figures, a large portion of our annual production goes "elsewhere". Also it is stated that roughly $500 million is wasted on enforcing marijuana laws every year. We could easily cut down on police forces and court costs.
  8. Is foolishness ever a positive behaviour? Foolishness is a lack of good sense or judgment; stupidity. If you spend your entire life praising a being that may not even exist or may exist but may not ever care about you the way your faith believes that being does, that would be foolish.
  9. Read the thread. There are 46 pages worth of information regarding your question.
  10. They even defied the GOP and federal law to do it. Seems like breaking laws does lead to political reform after all.
  11. They'll have to deal with it in D.C as well. Didn't they just legalize?
  12. Still is I believe. It's estimated about $2 or so billion in sales from across the border will be lost this year. That leaves roughly $3 billion, possibly more, which still rivals all other British Columbia crops. With the changes in U.S. law, I think BC is not far from changing. I'm actually surprised the U.S. beat them to it honestly. With how relaxed the laws are in Vancouver and it being such a large area of the province population wise it doesn't seem like anyone is in a huge rush.
  13. "Mr. Speaker, let me be very clear...." Awwwwwhhh no not again! I'll tell you anything! Anything you want to hear! Just please no more of this inhumane torture!
  14. I don't hold much hope. This is what Harper will be remembered for. The day Canada bent to the will of the Muslim Extremists. We are playing right into their pocket, just like the US did.
  15. Unfortunately he's convinced enough people to be legitimately scared. An army of sheep lead by a.. sheep. This is going to be just greaaaaat.
  16. Whoever did it would need a lot of time or people. The man power alone would take some time. not to mention where did all the dirt go? Is it pilled up outside the hole? Whats with the rosary beads with the poppy nailed to it? Christian terrorists? Seems awfully weird to me. Has to be some sort of weird prank. Its obviously relatively new. I don't think the Poppies changed to black from green in the middle until a few years ago.
  17. I bet you that's what the Koreans thought. He probably changed all the pictures of ex-korean leaders to ones of himself too. The cult of personality runs deep in Supreme Leader Harper.
  18. Not sure, how long did it take Kim Il-Sung? That one might be phase eight, possibly nine.
  19. That was phase one. Removing oversight and reducing transparency was phase two. Reducing Elections Canada's power was phase three. Keeping a watchful eye on dissenters is phase four. I wonder what phase five is.
  20. We are. By being against things that make it weaker, like this bill. Bills like this are exactly what extremists that want to form their own states want governments like ours to do in reaction. It gets us one step closer to what they would want to do to their own citizens. So you mean to tell me if Trudeau wins the election this year and takes power you will support any and all legislation he brings forward without question? I have a feeling your blue partisan stripes will be flying higher than the flag if Trudeau takes office this fall.
  21. Women can legally drive in this country without this bill and where they could not, they still cannot with this bill. Surpressed religious beliefs will not change either. There are no infidels being buried alive or beheaded here and even if this bill became law it will not stop it happening anywhere else. To believe otherwise is naive.
  22. My point is the bill is reactionary instead of proactive. You're just as safe without the bill. Trust me, everything will be okay. You're not going to get blown up. Do you need a hug? You should call everyone you know and tell them you are ok, you made it through the day without getting terrorized.
