What happens if the power goes off?

I don't forget that at all.....quite the opposite. -
What happens if the power goes off?

Again a moot point, a lightning strike will generate a radio pulse upwards of 10 Mhz, a thermal nuclear device would be measured in the hundreds of MHz. -

Without a doubt, and further to that, cities without a nearby water source would literally dry up once all the bottle water was looted out of stores. -

No, but catastrophic none the less......as bad as nuclear war? No, but it would result largely in our society taking a giant leap backwards. Its a moot point with civilian infrastructure though. Take for example the railroads, now versus the later 1800s. Back then, railroads required intense manual labor to run, outside the actual physical attributes with steam trains. Namely logistics, things like scheduling, the compiling of loads, tracking and delivery etc. Then there was the actual running of the railways, with a reliant human hand to switch tacks, signal trains, make way-points etc... Then there was the distribution of freight at the destinations. Then, they relied largely upon local consumption, in that goods wouldn't go further from the train stations then it could be taken by horse drawn wagons......as a result, cities grew-up around the railways (those not already connected to seaports etc).......even still, railways didn't really gain their critical importance until the advent of the telegraph (built along railway lines)..... Now apply this to North American railroads today. Though the physical infrastructure would still be there (trains, cars, tracks and stations), their ability to carry on without (or limited) modern communications would greatly restrict their ability to operate how they do today...........and this would have catastrophic effects in the near term. -
Where did I do any of that? Where did I "smear" anyone or any one company? How is that? The conduct of past Liberal governments and their awarding of contracts is in retrospect........are you suggesting this Liberal Government follows the same conduct as Liberal governments previous, namely in relation to the noted ADSCAM? So far, your suggestions as to why this Government refuses a transparent process on the awarding of contracts, on the Syrian refugee file, is laughable........and amounts to we have secrets and they are justified because the previous guys were also secretive.

And said "period of time" is the key factor, and the ensuing economic damage, to determine the end result. The Soviet military was without a doubt EMP protected, furthermore (through to the 80s), much of the Soviet economy was still heavily reliant upon manual labor and mechanical output not relying upon electronics. -

And, per the DHS/Senate commission, upwards of ~70% of the North American electric and telecommunication grid would cease the second a medium yield device was detonated over central North America. And said reset would entail the deaths of a goodly sum of the population.........Darwinism at its finest. But 90% after an EMP attack does seem far fetched. -

Its apples to oranges. In both examples, there still is outside supporting infrastructure to contend with said disaster/blacked-out areas. Not the strike itself, but fallout, disease, starvation, dehydration and the major tear in the "social fabric" in the aftermath would seal the fate of most in the months and years following. (By nuclear strike, I mean an exchange with a peer like the Soviets, not a one-off in a major city) -

Though I agree the 90% figure seems far fetched, like a nuclear strike, the deaths would result from the aftermath......namely from starvation and dehydration, then "third world" diseases. -

How do you come to this conclusion, which runs completely counter to the findings of the US Senate's EMP Commission findings......which finds even a low yield device would be devastating, and not measurable compared to any damage from accidental fault or a hacking. -

That's subjective, and is why the military hardens its aircraft. I agree. -

It was (see FOBS), by all sides, but would be followed up by a nuclear strike against key military, government and industrial targets. -

90% of the population seems a little on the high side, and more along the lines of the aftermath 1 year+ nuclear exchange with the Soviets. Furthermore, vehicles with carburetors, minus electronic ignitions (~early 70s and older or some newer diesels), or gas powered gen sets or tools (with pull starts) would also still function.....as it mentions though, fuel sources would be the major concerns, but then there will roads full of cars parked forever more...anything electronic will be toast, not that they can't be repaired, but parts would be seized by government to return transport trucks and trains to service etc... In essence, it would be a return to the 1800s, and anyone that survives the first ~month, would have the same expected lifespan (or better) as those 120 years ago. Could it happen? You bet. Would it alter the world forever? Likely, and not just the worldwide economic collapse that would following, but the nuclear counter strike(s) launched by the Americans onto anyone they think could be involved. -

No, I refuse to fully accept the story from an agency that has been found to lie wholesale in the past. As I said, several simple items made public (autopsy, dash cams/audio, crime scene pictures of Finicum's truck etc), all items that other policing agencies in the past have had no qualms releasing, could go very far in furthering the discussion.......why does the FBI refuse to have said info made public? You're talking about the FBI.......the house built by Hoover? They very much so have the capacity, and history of abuse, afforded by a political and economic footprint more influential than most nations entire military/policing agencies combined. How many (independent) published autopsies did Micheal Brown receive in that cut and dried case? -

Then why would he stop in the first place? Why would Finicum and company place their hands out the window? Why would Ryan Payne surrender? And what motivation would a 17 year old girl have to lie, inversely, would there not be motivation for police to lie, say to cover-up excessive force or a negligent discharge? You yourself, in countless threads, have spoken to the "blue wall of silence"......do police only lie when they kill black teens? -

And it looks like the Pacific Patriot Network has started filtering into Burns, and Pete Santilli's (a journalist arrested with the Bundy's) channel is streaming the first day's protest, via a couple that are friends with Santilli. -

LEO's would have them leave the truck one at a time.........why they went from stopping, hands out the window, with one surrendering, to taking off is the question. As claimed, at that point, LEO fired at the truck. You can see flashes from the footage, seconds before Finicum takes off, which would be more pronounced from a rifle or shotgun (as we can see the LEO's armed with at the first stop), versus a handgun, which we can see present when they kill Finicum. She would be as objective in this incident as LEO........and one doesn't need "training" to hear gun shots. They scanned back to an empty Jeep, well Payne left the truck........that is more than interesting. No, I feel the entire events aren't being conveyed by the FBI/OSP, and that Finicum's death was the result of a comedy of errors and bungling on the part of law enforcement. No, I'm saying that to the unwashed masses, the short edited clip played by MSM, would appear to be justification.......but then media manipulation by the FBI has been used in the past, and is only sometimes redressed by an investigation after the fact. Case in point, Waco and the years of investigation (at a congressional level) that displayed the numerous mistakes made by both the BATF and then the FBI, that resulted in the deaths of largely innocent people, by the use of heavy handed tactics by Federal Law Enforcement. -
Scrambling away from what? With the secretive nature of the Liberal's contract awards, the public mention of any parties relating to the process are a public interest. Of course, the Liberal Government could demystify the entire process by including a measure of transparency into their closed door, backroom dealings. I have little knowledge of the inner workings of the Liberal Party of Canada, and how it awards government contracts .......that being why there are questions with the entire process relating to the refugee program.

Ryan Payne left the truck and went to the LEO's (as ordered) were he was led away (as seen in the video), so there was no reason why LEO's would have to approach the truck. The "proof" is the testimony of the young girl, since released, that was in the truck, coupled with the flashes as seen in the video............ Do you not find it curious why, in the video, the complete surrender and take down of Payne is not shown, with footage panning elsewhere, only to return once he's being led away, minutes before Finicum buggers off? -
Where did I say, or suggest, that Waldo? Is said MP even involved in the contract process? A valid question (among many other), left unanswered, by a Liberal Government that refuses to divulge the process it uses to award contracts relating to the Syrian refugee file. As I said, I've no idea why the Trudeau Government is hiding the process, then when confronted, cites "security reasons" for its secretive nature.

Failing to stop? They stopped, held their hands out the windows as directed and Ryan Payne was detained by the LEOs before Finicum took off after being shot at well stopped.
