    I agree. I cannot understand how a member could (get away with) use the ignore function to ignore posts in a thread. I can understand ignoring personal messages etc, but to completely block other members posts that are relevant to the thread and then to expect that poster to contribute in a meaningful way is ridiculous. And knowing that this poster has other folks on ignore reduces the value of their posts.

    Instead of investing billions in building and transporting toxic bitumen, let's invest that money in renewable energy sources.

    Not only Trudeau, but Mulcair as well. However, there is speculation that Harper won't get hurt much by this. He has a strong presence in the fraser valley and other parts of BC. He may lose a few seats but not enough to make a difference and possibly the votes could be split between Liberals and NDP for those against the pipeline.

    If you live along the coastline of BC, it becomes your home. It is our home. Our economy relies on a clean environment free of toxic oil spills that could undermine the entire province of BC. Not everyone in Canada has equal say in what happens. The protests against this will be many many many times above the protests of the Clayoquot protests. We now have soccer moms, dads, officer workers, the average british columbian, most first nations people. This battle has just started.

    Until you unblock all members from participating in this debate, your feedback has no relevance. You are picking and choosing who you want to debate with.

    If you truly believe that, you should come up with some concrete info, instead of bashing canadian healthcare. Let's bring this dialogue up a notch or two. I agree that our healthcare system is in dire need of improvement, and so is the u.s. This is not a competition. I think we are all on the same page that both countries need improvements in our health care programs.

    Ok my problem is that BC forwarding his sentences and then we have Waldo weighing in, but neither BC nor waldo can see each other's responses. How fucked up is that for a meaningful dialogue?

    This is an open discussion and if a member blocks another member, how can we possibly have a good discussion. It's simply ridiculous. How can any member seriously consider contributing when they don't know who is privy to all posts and who is ignoring posts. It is a silly childish game. Can we not be civilized adults and leave these games to our children.

    Thank you. I did read up on that type of surgery. It clearly was not part of BC's research. I did research it.
