  1. To blame any economic woes on feminism is simply ridiculous. The economy is driven by many factors and it's simply too complex to say it's all the fault of feminists.
  2. What's your definition of a good old fashioned woman?
  3. Well, you may be in the minority of men who think that way. You should focus on the benefits that feminism brings to men, including a more empowered relationship with a woman who has equal rights that match yours.
  4. For those men who feel feminism is a bad thing (according to this OP), it does have benefits for men as well as women: How Men Benefit from relationships with feminist women "Men in relationships with feminist women are freed from some of the oppressive bonds of traditional masculinity. They are less likely to be “success objects” valued only for their paychecks (which frees them up to choose more satisfying jobs and careers), they are freer to express their emotions and receive emotional support, to be nurturing and supportive in their personal relationships, to be non-violent, more cooperative and less destructively competitive, and to embrace the traditionally “feminine” things that fit them." "constrictive conceptions of masculinity have “inhibited men's development, reduced men's capacity to form meaningful relationships, and contributed to the oppression of others.”
  5. The op should be tied in somehow to this article and not left up to us to try and figure how it is.
  6. Feminism isn't a bad thing. It was born out of women fighting for their human rights.
  7. The comparison Jacee is getting at, I think, is that women have far more human rights today, How can men care for, protect and love the women in their lives if they don't agree with the fight women have fought for more human rights than existed not so very long ago.
  8. I didn't read any article. My response was tongue in cheek. But I know you didn't get that.
  9. Well it's not a cliche when I have to deal with it I'm speaking specifically on software engineering solutions. There is definitely a lack of creative thinking and arriving at solutions.
  10. I have found working with Asians over the last 10 years is that yes they have excellent skills in those areas. However when you leave them on their own to be creative and problem solving without structure in place and letting them know what exactly needs to be solved it can be frustrating for them. I know I am speaking from personal experience but that is what I have found. Don't ask me for cites. I don't have them. I'm speaking simply from my work experience in the lower mainland of bc.
  11. So the gang reference went completely over your head. I understand.
  12. Who do you think would make up these gangs? Housewives who have lost their sons, brothers, husbands to shootings? Maybe daughters who have lost their brothers and fathers to violence on the streets? Maybe pregnant women who have been illegally detained for refusing to turn over their ID?
  13. Do you seriously think anyone is going to take over? Get real.
  14. Absolutely! Everyone else asks for cites around here. Why can't I?
  15. There are ways to resist arrest: not giving ID (not required)
  16. Resisting arrest also means standing up for your legal rights.
  17. Foolishly decided? I'm pretty sure they have evidence to back up their decisions.
