  1. Thanks Jacee for calling it what it is. It reflects the mean spirit of this forum.
  2. This story has been reported by many other media. Do I need to post links to their reporting? So the CBC is in cahoots with FN's? Is that what you are saying?
  3. I find it interesting how Jacee is attacked for having the most sane conversations regarding this issue. Jacee has done far more research on this topic than anyone else, that I can see. So, by attacking her, they are actually addressing the faulty thinking in their own research. Keep up the good work Jacee.
  4. Money allocated for CBC has nothing to do with FN social services. Let's not let BC have his way.
  5. CBC dollars aren't taking away from FN's social services. Let's get real here guys.
  6. He does get away with a lot of sh.....t
  7. If this isn't trolling, I don't know what the hell is.
  8. How can there possibly be good reasons for not spending money when FN communities are in dire need of funds to address their needs. It's appalling that this money has been held back and it's a disgrace for Canadians. If Canadians don't react to this report than it is truly sad to say that Canadians simply don't care about First Nations.
  9. If you and Shady had bothered to read the links, one of them discusses this: "The Quebec Native Women's Association recently lost $175,000 in federal funding, which has jeopardized its ability to continue offering services to aboriginal people within the province."
  10. CBC obtained a heavily-censored analysis of the Aboriginal Affair's department's funds and allocations from the Privy Council Office, the prime minister's department, under the Access to Information Act. It disclosed that the department held back $1B in funding for social services to Aboriginal communities. These funds were to help to provide clean, running water, programs to address violence, addictions and support of education programs. Why isn't there an outcry from the non-native Canadians? http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/perry-bellegarde-national-chief-calls-on-government-to-meet-obligations-to-first-nations-1.3103299 http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/aboriginal-affairs-1b-spending-shortfall-hits-quebec-association-hard-1.3103266
  11. I think I need to take some courses on marriage counselling before I answer some of your posts. Seriously guys, can you not take care of your marriages and satisfy the sex lives of your partners? Do you really need to blame the failures of your sex lives on feminism?
  12. Honestly, I don't have a wife so I don't give a dam. My male partner understands my sexual pleasures and we don't need feminism rules to guide us.
  13. I am really astounded of the remarks here from some men who think that their wives are angelic.
  14. Heh, seriously? What if she fantasizes having sex with your younger neighbour and yet she has multiple orgasms with you? Would that still be a problem with you? And I assure you, she has fantasizes without you participating.
  15. When a couple have been in a long term relationship, sometimes 'just liking each other' isn't good enough. There is nothing wrong with fantasizing etc. even if it includes wine and dine for sex.
  16. Then you should take it up with your wife. This is clearly not a feminist issue.
  17. Then we all agree this has nothing to do with feminism. It has everything to do with the dynamics of a relationship.
  18. You didn't really back up your argument.
  19. Except men wine and dine women for sex.
  20. What is your definition of masculinity?
  21. Your definition of masculinity may vary widely from a woman's definition of masculinity and even from a man's definition. You get that don't you?
  22. Heh. Seriously? And what is your definition of a feminist male?
