  1. If the pro-life movement was really looking for success, they would support things that reduce abortion instead of calling women murderers and displaying pictures designed to shame people while demanding that abortion be outlawed. Abortion decreases in countries that promote sex-ed and access to birth control and increases in countries that restrict abortion. https://trib.al/aJJ3SOL

  2. The risk ANY soldier faces on the battle field is great, male of female, I take it your concerned about rape, Rape is about power, control, humiliation, and it works on both males and females, Middle eastern countries have made torture a science, and they are very good at it.....i would be lying if i said that it has not crossed the minds of any soldier, and does provoke fears, but their is a lot of things that soldiers think about on the battle field, surviving one more day is what consumes most soldiers thoughts most of the day....thinking about wife's, kids , family consumes the rest ...... Being a Canadian soldier is knowing your not alone, Canadian tactics in these regions make it extremely hard for the bad guys to be able separate or destroy any formation operating outside the wire, hence why in 10 years of combat operations in Afghanistan NOT one Canadian soldier had been captured.... A female soldier would make one hell of a trophy, hence why the tactics we use, and strategies we employ work...if it did happen, it would also be a huge blow to moral of not only the Canadian military but to our country as well, it would also be a blow to everything these female soldiers have worked so hard at to claw back from their male counter parts...my point is this....those that have chosen this career field have done so for a reason, they want to be a Canadian soldiers nothing more nothing less....not a female soldier, not a male soldier BUT a Canadian soldier...were each is treated equally...we have a long way to go.....we cant do that if we continue with this type of thinking, they don't want to be singled out as girls or boys or what every they identify as ...but known as just soldiers....Our hearts are in the right places, but our actions are flawed , does that make sense...

  3. The coin indeed has the photo of Cyrus the great. A monumental moment when he allowed the passage for jews through Babylon and rebuilding temple of Jerusalem... He was also the founder of human rights charter... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyrus_the_Great_in_the_Bible https://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.slideplayer.com%2F34%2F10226853%2Fslides%2Fslide_4.jpg&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fslideplayer.com%2Fslide%2F10226853%2F&docid=EfPxkpuq31yllM&tbnid=Suo1YQ3FqKfb6M%3A&vet=1&w=960&h=720&source=sh%2Fx%2Fim

  4. Iranians took to the streets with hope that the USA would help them get rid of an oppressive regime. Barack Obama not only was deaf to them, but instead, he sided with the oppressive mullahs. Ripping up the deal Barack Obama had with the oppressive mullahs, is most likely just the beginning for Trump. http://freebeacon.com/national-security/white-house-examining-plan-spark-regime-change-iran/

  5. It would seem that way to a socialist. It's one of the core ideological differences between socialists and left-leaning Liberals vs. Conservatives and more traditional Liberals. The Left includes anyone who they consider "economically challenged" in their poverty industry - constantly using the Low Income Cutoff as their minimum benchmark - even when Stats Canada warns them not to do so. Age 15 to 21 and trying to make a few bucks in your first job? You are poor. Can't afford all the cable channels? You're poor. Elder seniors living on their own - no need for new clothes, commuting or the like but under the LICO - you're poor. My Mom is one of those - and she's having a heckova good time. The cycle of true poverty can never be completely broken - there will always be people who fall between the cracks - or choose to fall between the cracks. But the cycle can be "managed" and the damage minimized - by concentrating our efforts and funding towards those who are truly in need. No one should suffer by not having a roof over their heads or food in their belly or clothes on their back. True poverty is a terrible thing and a compassionate society has no place for it. Socialism's huge net wastes funds on those who don't really need it and some who don't deserve it - at the expense of those who do. There is nothing wrong with working a second job, or sharing an apartment, or living at home a bit longer and having the responsibility and pride to support themselves. So yes - it would be an obvious claim to you, Slick.
