Topaz Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Today, the British paper the Independant, got their hands on Bush and Cheney plans to keep Iraq under US ruler forever! Iraq does not like this plan and is trying to fight it. You can read about over on www.bourque.org. Under the accord, US soldiers and contractors would not be under Iraq law, and Bush and Cheney are pushing for this to be signed by the end of the month so they can declare victory and help out McCain. So if military families thought they were going to come home, under McCain they won`t be. Quote

Or is The Independent just printing more of the usual left wing conspiracy dribble. It's hard to tell. Topaz, read this carefully. You really need to learn how to provide fricking links to your stories. Yes, I know you typed the address to a place called bourque, and for you this is actually an improvement. But it's not the source of the story, and links are really not that hard to do. Quote

That is probably wishful thinking...the US House just approved an additional $162,000,000,000 just for operations in Iraq well into next year, assuring that the next president need not be in any hurry to abandon the "invasion". Even Obama's foreign policy dream team includes the same Washington stiffs who gave us previous invasions, bombings, attacks, sanctions, and "war crimes". I mean after all, Senator Obama is still an American, right? Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
