I don't care what site this is posted on!

This is the Florida State police, and is likely available elsewhere.

What a disgusting police officer.

She is a little small child, and this man is an idiot.

Unbelievable Police Brutality.

Oh and if that was my daughter?????

Well I would make sure this guy loses his job, never owns a dam thing, and pays and pays and pays and pays.

Insults are the ammunition of the unintelligent - do not use them. It is okay to criticize a policy, decision, action or comment. Such criticism is part of healthy debate. It is not okay to criticize a person's character or directly insult them, regardless of their position or actions. Derogatory terms such as "loser", "idiot", etc are not permitted unless the context clearly implies that it is not serious. Rule of thumb: Play the ball, not the person (i.e. tackle the argument, not the person making it).

What a disgusting police officer.

Absolutely disgusting that a cop is doing his job.

She is a little small child, and this man is an idiot.

She is 15 and an idiot for not obeying an order.

Unbelievable Police Brutality.

Then I respectfully suggest you have no idea what police brutality is.

Oh and if that was my daughter?????

Well I would make sure this guy loses his job, never owns a dam thing, and pays and pays and pays and pays.

And you would get absolutely nowhere with your lawsuit , except to pay and pay and pay the lawyers fees.

Brutality exists , and is becoming a serious problem, but this case is nowhere near the top 100 of cases in North America.

She should have put her hadns behind her back, and all would have been fine. But no, lil whiney girl screams for mommy and bites the officer, justifying the pepper spray and a punch to the head.

After thought, I would be willing to write him up on the punch, but nothing else.

If I saw my daughter behaving like that she'd have her backside tanned when she got home.

Behaving, like what a scared child ,calling for her mother?

Are you kidding?

oh yeah, BTW,my husband, didn't say that at all, "she'd have her backside tanned "if that was our daughter. Quite the contrary.

yes its not surprising that you need to respond with such violent thoughts. i would say you know nothing about raising kids, but if you do have them, i'm sorry for them.

I ,as a parent was so shocked to watch that, little tiny girl be abused by that big officer , crying for her mother, was difficult for me to watch.

If he does that in front of his camera, what the hell does he do, away from the camera?

Video Shows Cop Punching Teen During Arrest

15-Year-Old Girl Allegedly Resisted Arrest

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A controversy is brewing in South Florida over a dash-camera video showing a Fort Pierce, Fla., police officer punching a 15-year-old girl while she is resisting arrest, reported WPBF-TV.

You should not be shocked. You should show that to your child and tell he/she to listen to the cop and obey the command. When they do that, then they may have a case further down the road.

But if you want to teach your child to (a) resist a direct command (B) bite a cop © resist an arresting Officer....sorry but the rest of this continent will be watching your precious on Youtube in the future.

The kid should have respected the cop. And then , and only then , when he does something on camera is where the parents step in and talk to his superior.

Little tiny girl be damned. Would it be better if she was big and fat? Nope. She was crying for her mommy because she got caught and was playing to his sympathies. Your a parent, get with the program, they ALL do that. Had he let her go you can bet she would be bragging to her friends in no time how she got the cop to let her off.

He did it on camera , and purposely , to avoid any ambiguity when she cries to the press or her parents take her case to his boss.

Trust me, his supervisor will look at the tape, tell the parents "Officer X did it by the book" and tell the parents good night.

They haven't one iota of a chance this gets taken up.

.

I will not teach my child to be subservient to any authority, that is foolish.

Oh daughter that cop is telling you to pull your pants down and bend over, you better do it!

Are you out of your mind?!

You set your child up for abuse, not me , buddy!!

Authority with too much power has too much potential for abuse.

i truly can't believe some of the posters here??? :o

Next time you coast through a stop sign, maybe some cop, will shoot you, cause you failed to comply.

Good , now I am glad to know he had probable cause . She doesnt get her rights read just because she is going into handcuffs. He has every right to detain and question her. If she knew her rights, and her auntie knew them , they would shut up. But they dont, and they whine.

You are seriously undermining yourself. This was not brutal.

She shouldn't have resisted arrest.

In terms of police brutality...this is nuthin'. American cops are far nicer than the vast majority when it comes to resisting arrest. See for yourself...my favorite are the Spanish cops... :D

the child is 15 yrs old, a child.

Then it should be ok with you all, to punch and pepperspray

11yr old?

10 yr olds?

8 yr olds?

what the diff, most kids are prone to irrational behaviour, due to immaturity anyway.

You people are scary.

Next time you coast through a stop sign, maybe some cop, will shoot you, cause you failed to comply.

Wonderful leap of logic you have there.

Your child will be the next whiney lil crybaby for mommy because you have taught her not to respect authority. Of course in your world I can assume that you failed to teach them that authority has limits, and when they step beyond those limits is when they are to question.

So when a child is shot for driving at a Cop doing traffic work you can claim "hey no subservience to authority!" Great , enjoy the funeral

Do you realize that you are the authority? So you teach kids to openly ignore you?

I truly cant believe some (one) of the parents here.

No cop is going to shoot you for failing a stop sign. Failing to stop, acting in a threatening manner, biting a cop sure.

You missed the mark.

It really is simple. Do what the cop tells you. If you can ,video tape it, then go higher. But in the field obey the command.

Look up the kid in St Louis county, he did it right. The cop was a major A-hole. The cop threatened him nine diff ways. The kid did what he was told.

Then he went to the press and the police. The cop is out of a job ANYWHERE in the US. His certification was pulled.

Sorry, but the bleeding hearts will lose this one in court. Biting teenage shoplifters do not have different rights, not even in Florida. Note how they want to work the teenage "girl" angle.

Never tried to restrain a 15 yr old huh? A violent one at that? I know you havent.

He is stronger than you are (assumably) and trained for this stuff, and he struggled with her.

Yes the pepper was warranted. Failing that, taze her was next.

First of all, you know nothing of me or my child, respect but not subservience.

Honey, let the cop molest you cause he says to obey the command, and please hope he videos it, so you can use it for evidence.

I'll be sure to tell her you think that is the way things should be done guyser. LOL!

I have to say, I am absolutely floored that posters think it is acceptable to punch a 15 yr old child and pepperspray her. Just floored.

That is abuse BTW, parents get charged for just that kind of thing. But that also appears to be lost on posters???

No I don't teach my child to ignore authority,(huge assumption) only NOT TO BE Subservient to it.

Do what the cops tell you to do, let'em feel you up, but tape it so you can have recourse later, are you missing the mark.

You are, completely. Are you a parent at all?

No I am afraind you have missed the mark.

When a cop tells you to do something thats illegal , that is wrong. Should a cop feel her up, then that too is wrong and the tape will catch it.

It is then , after the fact, the time to do something about it. And as the parent or guardian, you do just that.

But anyway, the cop did nothing wrong, the kid did.

It only gets more absurd.....detaining and arresting criminals now becomes molestation! Work that sex victim angle...work it!

what is absurd is thinking this is acceptable behaviour by a police officer and I am glad, you all agree that abusing children is OK.

BC: like cops have never abused young women sexually, right???

Not to put to fine too point on it, but since your MO is accuracy beyond all else, where does it say she was a teenage shoplifter?

Yeah where does it say that BC???

cause the only thing she was charged with was resisting arrest.

"The teen pleaded not guilty to a resisting-arrest charge."

For any of us to agree, would you mind showing the rest of us morons (considering every post has disagreed with you) where the abuse of a child was in the video?

There are minutes displayed on the tape, perhaps you could tell us, ya know , like 2:mins 45 second mark?

Ha! Why would that make any difference....frauds revealed!!

I would have TAZED her ass....don't taze me 'bro....LOL!
