gc1765 Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Is this why people watch Fox news? There's gotta be some reason... Quote Almost three thousand people died needlessly and tragically at the World Trade Center on September 11; ten thousand Africans die needlessly and tragically every single day-and have died every single day since September 11-of AIDS, TB, and malaria. We need to keep September 11 in perspective, especially because the ten thousand daily deaths are preventable. - Jeffrey Sachs (from his book "The End of Poverty")
kuzadd Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Is this why people watch Fox news? There's gotta be some reason... Must be why men watch?! Man could those skirts get any shorter. Wondering when they uncross there legs, do they flash a little skin, for the dirty old men viewers. What's amazing depsite, the obvious "sex sells" factor, is that anyone watches Fox news, for the news. Or do they just make that claim? Quote Insults are the ammunition of the unintelligent - do not use them. It is okay to criticize a policy, decision, action or comment. Such criticism is part of healthy debate. It is not okay to criticize a person's character or directly insult them, regardless of their position or actions. Derogatory terms such as "loser", "idiot", etc are not permitted unless the context clearly implies that it is not serious. Rule of thumb: Play the ball, not the person (i.e. tackle the argument, not the person making it).

It's the barbie make up which I find really over the top - I keep thinking "Does this woman have a jackhammer to take all that crap off?" (I don't allow myself to think about what these bubbleheads would even look like without it all) Yeah I know, petty - but I've never been a frilly barbie gal. Anyway isn't it called FAUX news? southerncomfort Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 I watch it for news don't give a hoot about short skirts etc. Live news is live news, nice to get a different opinion also. I do suppose all you guys who like to slam Fox watch it on a regular basis so you can make informed comments Quote

I do suppose all you guys who like to slam Fox watch it on a regular basis so you can make informed comments I actually have listened to it often. I help my father often with household tasks etc. and he has a variety of msm news always droning off in the background - including Fox. I find it all rather poor - so much is reported out of context in a two minute (and that's lengthy) soundbite. The opinion shows are just that - rarely if ever - reporting and unbiasedly accounting the opposite views. Pretty shabby, IMO. (edited too add: And yeah all the bimbettes wear far too much plaster compound on their botoxed faces). Quote "An eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind" ~ Ghandi

RB Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 It's a shame, the standard set for women to look a certain way and what constitutes to being successful - gasp, but the "chicks" look hot, a real eye-opener and it sells. It certainly rules out a whole lot of women who can never access those jobs. I mean we keep pushing limits to the dress code for women, they are also now undressing in the naked news. Quote
Drea Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 As a professional businesswoman I would never never wear a skirt that short (for work). Geez... I find that these "girls" (they are not women IMO) are just eye candy for men and are not meant to be taken seriously. There is a time and a place for a mini skirt and the business world is not it. Are the men that see them listening to them or just trying to look up their skirts? Pfffft -- useless as tits on a boar these "girls" are. Quote ...jealous much? Booga Booga! Hee Hee Hee

And super intelligent too - many times she really talks circles around some of the "expert" guests on her show. Love the right wing babes: Smart AND hot. guyser Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Yowser, kind of want FOX news available to me now.Certainly not for the reporting mind you. I thought the one girl they kept showing, the one in the blue top w the blonde hair sitting beside that guy, they looked like televangilists. Quote

jdobbin Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 FOX just escorted Canadian righty Rachel Marsden out of FOX News a few days ago. They told her they were going in a different direction. The New Your Post said it was because she was up to her old tricks of stalking. I think that seems to be a right wing thing. heh Quote

A proven liar, convicted of stalking, ruining peoples lives.....I guess she must have one great set of lips on her. I know, sexist dumb statement, but I cannot think of any rational reason why she ever got a job in media. Maybe it is her looks. Quote
