Thanks for indicating how profoundly uninformed you are. Unless you can show me where Al Gore used the word "invent" During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet. Yet we know it was created years before and had been progressing along for years before Gore came along. Creating inventing, the same thing. Which is why jounalists at the time and still do to this day , use the word invent or invented talking about Gores claims. He was a phony then and he's a phony today. Quote

sharkman Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 Hey, isn't Al Gore the guy who when campaigning said he had always supported abortion rights? Of course, he forgot that in 1977, as a member of the House of Representatives, he voted for an amendment that stated abortion takes the life of a living human being. Oops! He claimed Mary, the mother of Jesus, was a homeless woman. He claimed he had 3000 town hall meetings in his home state of Tennesse over a 16 year period. Impossible, that would have meant one every other day including weekends. Duh! When asked about his illegal fundraising at a Californian Buddist Temple, he claimed he didn't realize it was a temple. No doubt the bald men in orange robes were servers at a theme park restaurant. Yikes! He claimed the union song, Look For the Union Label, was sung to him as a baby when the song wasn't released until in a 1975 commercial as a jingle. OMG! Gore stated that he accompanied Federal Emergency Management Agency Director James Lee Witt to Texas to assess the 1996 Parker County fires. Actually he didn't, the record shows he went 2 years later for different fires and Witt wasn't there. He also said it's okay to lie about Global Warming, which he obviously does every time he steps in front of a microphone. For more giggles and chuckles, see the link. Quote

Then again, considering how much of a blatant lie the criticism that Al Gore claimed to invent the internet is, it makes me wonder whether any of the above are not also more lies. He also said it's okay to lie about Global Warming, which he obviously does every time he steps in front of a microphone. Can you show me where Al Gore said it's ok to lie about global warming? And try to get actual quotes rather than changing words around as B. Max has done.
