He's an even bigger liar today ...

Nothing on this thread proves Gore is a liar. What this thread has established is that you lie.

Except for his own words which the Gore apologists can't change.

You don't believe that he took initiatives that led to the development of the internet? I think the record clearly shows that he did.

No need.

The internet was created as a military project ... probably before he was even born.

 Ooookaaaay. Thanks for indicating how profoundly uninformed you are.

Wikipedia:

After much work, the first node went live at UCLA on October 29, 1969 on what would be called the ARPANET, one of the "eve" networks of today's Internet.

Albert Arnold "Al" Gore, Jr. (born March 31, 1948 in Washington, D.C.)

Run along now, B.Max. Your nonsense has finally reached the point of absurdity.

...and yet it's Ok for the Gore-haters to change his words...

Almost three thousand people died needlessly and tragically at the World Trade Center on September 11; ten thousand Africans die needlessly and tragically every single day-and have died every single day since September 11-of AIDS, TB, and malaria. We need to keep September 11 in perspective, especially because the ten thousand daily deaths are preventable.

You did. Unless you can show me where Al Gore used the word "invent"

“Now, by the way, any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires -- a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way. When we're talking about chasing down terrorists, we're talking about getting a court order before we do so.” - George W. Bush (2004)

Of course, that pales in comparison to "Gore says he created the internet."

Do we really expect the highest integrity in information to come from someone that calls all members of the Democratic party opposed to the war in Iraq traitors.

Who said this? When? Members of the Democratic party opposed to the war means millions of people, along with some Republicans, Independents, Communists, Anarchists, Greens, etc.

During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet.

Yet we know it was created years before and had been progressing along for years before Gore came along.

Creating inventing, the same thing. Which is why jounalists at the time and still do to this day , use the word invent or invented talking about Gores claims.

He was a phony then and he's a phony today.

I'll decide.

Yes, you can decide whether you want to change Al Gore's words or not.

Hey, isn't Al Gore the guy who when campaigning said he had always supported abortion rights? Of course, he forgot that in 1977, as a member of the House of Representatives, he voted for an amendment that stated abortion takes the life of a living human being. Oops!

He claimed Mary, the mother of Jesus, was a homeless woman.

He claimed he had 3000 town hall meetings in his home state of Tennesse over a 16 year period. Impossible, that would have meant one every other day including weekends. Duh!

When asked about his illegal fundraising at a Californian Buddist Temple, he claimed he didn't realize it was a temple. No doubt the bald men in orange robes were servers at a theme park restaurant. Yikes!

He claimed the union song, Look For the Union Label, was sung to him as a baby when the song wasn't released until in a 1975 commercial as a jingle. OMG!

Gore stated that he accompanied Federal Emergency Management Agency Director James Lee Witt to Texas to assess the 1996 Parker County fires. Actually he didn't, the record shows he went 2 years later for different fires and Witt wasn't there.

He also said it's okay to lie about Global Warming, which he obviously does every time he steps in front of a microphone.

I believe B.Max made an entire thread about it.

Good God. He is a compulsive liar.

Meh, atleast he hasn't gotten any troops killed based on distorted facts and complete lies. Which is much more than I can say for a certain other politician.

It makes me shudder to think of what disasters awaited the Western world had Gore gotten into the White House and been faced with 9/11. At least we can be thankful for that.

You can start with "he wouldn't have invaded Iraq," which starts him off +3400 or so.

It was the inaction of the Clinton Gore years that led to 911 and the deaths of thousands.

Then Mr. Gore is unremarkable, as this would be descriptive of many billions of other people on the planet. No wonder he never became President of the USA. Is it better to get troops killed based on facts and less than complete lies?

With all those criticisms against Al Gore, it makes me wonder why anyone would have to "invent" criticisms?

Then again, considering how much of a blatant lie the criticism that Al Gore claimed to invent the internet is, it makes me wonder whether any of the above are not also more lies.

He also said it's okay to lie about Global Warming, which he obviously does every time he steps in front of a microphone.

Can you show me where Al Gore said it's ok to lie about global warming? And try to get actual quotes rather than changing words around as B. Max has done.
