Nah, he'll never be PM. I mean for God's sake someone from Quebec can't win seats in Ontario, just ask Jean Chretien!

Oh wait....

Horatio are you baked when you post these things?

Such a superficial analysis, hmmmm good work.

Seriously tough. Say the Conservatives do pull of a majority next Spring. Can Dion last that long in opposition or do the knives come out for him already?

Two consecutive losses and he is toast.

Ricki my oldest and dearest friend, who was the last Liberal leader not to become Prime Minister?

Lord how I can't wait to see Dion debate Harper, I might actually feel sorry for Harper when it's over. Well, maybe not.

Say the Conservatives do pull of a majority next Spring.
Speaking of being baked...

I agree, I'd like to see Harper debate Dion and the Libs on the environment.

Only three leaders ago was there a leader who never won an election.

John Turner became PM on a technicality. Never won an election.

No technicality for Dion. He's actually got to win an election.

Can he do it?

If Dion ever gets to become PM it will be by the hand of Canadians who are mesmerized with the Liberals, no other reason.

I am convinced the Liberals could possibly win LEADERLESS simply because of Canadians who believe in the 'socialist equality bit' and the French and immigrant factor.

Canada has been culturalized without the consent of Canadians, who have allowed the passage of the flawed, discriminatory Charter of Rights and Freedoms that has overshadowed and impeded the normal running of this countries business.

The case of Maher Arar is an excellent example of a dysfunctional government that caters to the follies of socialist desires concerning the over extension of rights and privileges rather than contend with national security efforts of both Canada and the U.S.

Yeah! git rid of all dem furriners! And who needs rights and freedoms anyway? Why not just let the strong prey on the weak.

Your post represents a complete lack of understanding of the point Leafless was trying to make.

All this poll shows, is that there are more CPC supporters on this forum that LPC ones - nothing I have not voiced before using empirical observation.

Disclaimer: I would be equally skeptical of its true validity if LPC were ahead.

To be fair BC_Chick, it is pretty close and not a lopsided result.

Also, some of my CPC friends are sure Dion will win.

I love how Conservatives like to make themselves out to be smarter than everyone else whenever someone says something they don't agree with. No, I understood what was said completely I just chose to respond in the mocking way the original thought deserved.

To be fair, I know more Liberals who try to do that than Conservatives. In fact, that's how the Liberals govern..."you need us...natural governing party...Harper=*scary* *scary* *scary*!

55% vs. 44% is not as close as some other random nation-wide polls I have seen. IMHO - and don't take this the wrong way, it's just a personal observation - LPC supporters aren't as, um "passionate" (look I didn't say "angry" ) as their CPC-supporting counterparts.

That's why (again IMO) that there are less of us usually on any-given internet forum but random polls across the country show the two parties as pretty neck-to-neck.

Odds are definitely in Dion's favour though looking at Canadian history, so I don't dispute what your friends say.

Quick edit: Anger perhaps isn't the best word, maybe frustration is better. I say so because in the US where conservatives dominate politics, it's the liberals that are often frustrated.

Enough with your blanket attacks on *Conservatives*. Or should I look at your arrogant reply and chalk it up to arrogance on behalf of all *Liberals*?

Shouldn't you actually be in power to be so arrogant?

You completely ignored the point that was trying to be made. You were given the benefit of the doubt for misunderstanding.

LMAO Now there is a hypocritical statement if I ever saw one. You constantly bash so-called Lefties and Liberals and yet get so offended if someone should do the same in your direction. How typical.

Is that your reasoning for exscusing your own behaviour?
You completely ignored the point that was trying to be made.

Funny, I know several others who does the same.

As for the main point of this thread, I really hope not. It is time in this country for another point of view. Quebec libs have been running this country for most of my life. t is someone elses turn....

Most of mine too...I think things wouldn't go so well out west if the Quebec Liberals were in power again.

Again with the personal attacks apropos of nothing?

Again reported to Greg.

LMAO

Where is the personal attack there?

So typical of the schoolyard bully to run to the teacher and play the victim whenever someone stands up to them.

Your lame and inaccurate (apparently you think Mulroney was a Lefty  ) attempt to antagonize me in your signature is more of a personal attack than my previous post. You're pretty sad RB.
