Carney said a thing and the first reaction is oh people have been saying that for decades now it's part of a trend so Carney hasn't got a problem it's the trend that has the problem

I can only assume they've been taking lessons from you  

Then they try and claim that he never actually said what he did say and that there's no problem at all. When asked directly if this is a problem they skirt the answer and pretend not to hear

So they are absolutely stating that carney doesn't have a problem with their answers.

This has nothing to do with any alternative. Whether the alternative is better or worse does not change what this man has done in the slightest. If Connie shoots somebody then whether or not you like the alternative leader does not change the fact that he shot somebody. It's that simple
