Yes You're right I did miss-calculate which is rare.

I ususal have my facts right or close enough but I did misscalculate this one.

That's okay, and hell, it was worth a Starbucks just to witness the humiliation of Ann Coulter on Fifth Estate.

Also, their coverage of the Stanley Cup finals is blatantly pro-Oilers. Such bias!

Better the Oil than listening to Harry Neale spout off about the Leafs for 3hrs....

CBC just announced their Fall line-up. Looks like a reality bunch of wieners.....er..winner programs coming up from the Mother corp.

Seems like a lot of rehashing and copy-cat programs from other networks.

Take a look! There's got to be one original program that's a winner...or not.

CBC's exciting Fall Line-up

Unfortunately I do not have a choice and my tax money continues to be funnelled to this huge money vacuum.
The gov't spends money on lots of things which I don't agree with. The gov't could not function if it required that every taxpayer approve every spending item.

I don't think that we need to get rid of the CBC per se, but a taxpayer funded network should not just have to represent Canadian content, but content from all viewpoints. A taxpayer funded TV network should not be allowed to be partisan. Not just the conservative viewpoint, but also those the of NDP and Green Party should be considered equally in the news and programming schedule.

If the CBC wants to continue to operate as an extension of the Liberal Party we should privatize it and the Liberal Party can fund it instead.

I call bull s**t. Neale and Bob are unabashedly pro-East. they can no more hide their dislike for the Oil than they can their man crush on Eric Staal. I'd tune into NBC, but I refuse to watch their coverage until they stuff a sock in Pierre Maguire's yap and then stuff him in a old refrigerator down at the dump.

You are so right!

They jump on the Oil bandwagon when the games are in Edmonton, that's about it.

Otherwise, they might as well be watching the hockey games through Leaf-shaped glasses, because that seems to be the only team in their universe.

Just watch, Cole knows all the names of the Leaf players, and just plain forgets almost everyone else's names, unless they are massive superstars.

And Harry Neale is just an idiot, plain and simple. Retire please.

Yeah and the CBC's agenda is obviously anti-pilotism as well.

Almost three thousand people died needlessly and tragically at the World Trade Center on September 11; ten thousand Africans die needlessly and tragically every single day-and have died every single day since September 11-of AIDS, TB, and malaria. We need to keep September 11 in perspective, especially because the ten thousand daily deaths are preventable.

- Jeffrey Sachs (from his book "The End of Poverty")
