No, dimwit. You don't even have a clue what I meant so you pretend it was something else.
Here's one from the carnie's creed you should like:

It's immoral to leave money in the hands of a fool

neither do you.

Maybe try actually explaining your position and articulating your reasoning instead of just repeating what your echo chamber told you and freaking out when someone asks a question.

The station in town tried to out-gouge the one further out. Had to drop it to $1.739

I'm sure their accountant is bawling his eyes out over how much they're being forced to lose.

Run away? No it's just boring when every single thing zooms by over your head. Today my dog learned to look where my finger is pointing. Can you?

Why did the chicken herbie cross the road?

Because he was bored.... and a coward.

The local station hiked its price 3c the day oil dropped. on gas in their tanks as the refueling truck didn't come til today.
Fortunately, I went Sunday shopping out of town and saved 5c a litre.

The intown price dropped back down the 3c on today's gas.

So they got rid of the 20¢ carbon tax and now gas prices are climbing over $2.00. The 60¢+ hike is gpoing directly into the pockets of the Oil companies.
So what's the Conservative solution?
Cut more gas taxes....

I'm reconsidering buying  that new hybrid. Might wait for a Chinese BEV instead.

Chinese officials have long worried that the U.S. and its allies could hamstring the nation's economy by choking off the supply of foreign oil. (U.S. oil  embargo on Japan, 1941). China has poured hundreds of billions of dollars into weaning itself off the imported stuff by reviving domestic production and swiftly building the WORLD's leading electric-vehicle industry

And yet they have barely stopped the yearly increase in oil imports and are still importing 70% of their oil... not to mention coal.

Why you and other leftists pretend like China is something it isn't is beyond me.

There is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact when it is tainted by political rhetoric?

China has indeed reduced it reliance on imported oil – they see the Archilles heel it presents.

The country has diversified its energy sources by investing in overland pipelines and further expanding its network of pipelines from Asia. This far-reaching strategy has made China far less vulnerable to maritime blockades and has allowed China to secure oil supplies from Russia.

Russia is China’s largest supplier.

China invested 625 billion in clean energy in 20024 – this accounts for a staggering 31 percent of global energy investment.

Over half of the 625 billion invested targeted EV, batteries and solar industries – China is dominant in renewable technology research, science and manufacture.

Chinese companies now hold 75 percent of global clean energy patents – China is the manifest leader in solar, wind, battery and EV technology.

Trump wasn’t even part of the discussion, but you just had to bring him up because your are clinically obsessed with your hatred of him.

Moving that goal post! Your original assertion was not that they merely reduced, but the more absurd exaggeration about weaning themselves off it.

You guys absurdly continue to celebrate China and ignore all the inconvenient facts like how they continue to build more coal plant and use more coal than the entire world combined.

You also ignore the fact they're still an enveloping nation who has 1.4 billion people.  You also ignore the fact that they far and away lead the world in clean energy investment.

How am I ignoring that?

You guys keep bragging on them, exaggerating what they are doing, or ignoring all the coal and oil they continue to consume.

My pointing out this odd perverted obsession with loving China and ignoring all that is just that.

Even now, so what if they lead the world in clean energy investment? What is the point of bragging about that for them?

Who is bragging?  You interpret the fact that China is lapping the US in some critical categories as people are 'bragging'.  Citing facts is not bragging, it's simply showing facts.

You don't accept facts if they don't align with your way of thinking?

They also lead the world in pollution. So there you go

And a very valid reason to lead the world in the transition to clean energy.... don't you think.

Find those affordability cites yet?

No not really.

The reasoning for moving to clean energy is the fact that they can't get enough energy in the old school way it's not altruistic. Supplementing their existing systems with solar is also an inexpensive way to stretch out what they've got. You do the same thing, but for them it's even more important because they simply don't have access to the power they need

But at the end of the day they're still the biggest polluters. For ages they've been increasing their pollution output by the same amount of Canada's entire output once every 15 18 months.

If a guy cheated on his wife with 10 women this month and only eight women next month and tried to be proud of the fact that he's leading the world in Transitioning to non-adultry, either the world or his wife is going to buy that :)

Yes, the main reason for the investment is energy independence and a byproduct of that is reducing carbon emissions.  Not complicated....

You're wasting time.... get me those affordability facts.

Lapping the US… as you say you are not bragging.

That isn’t a fact, it’s a cheerleading characterization.
