Unfortunately being in these files opens you up to suspicion, it simply is what it is. The issue isn't just whether these individuals were involved in any crime but also what they were aware of and knew, which would be important to investigators trying to put it all the pieces together. The email qualifies as the very definition of hearsay. You and the OP have called people here on the forum much worse and the only difference is that your name isn't attached to it. In my book, the cloak of anonymity makes that worse. As if that wasn't enough, the screen name of the OP serves only to further propel the selective outrage to stratospheric levels of partisan frivolity. IMO this is exactly why it was a bad idea to release these files publicly. As an aside, in the haste to get all of this to print some of the redactions were poorly done and can be electronically unmasked relatively easily. Not a good look for either side IMO...
