Sure kid, Probably, sooner or later the right has to ask itself...

Sigh. " I'm asking you"

literally word for word.  I'm asking you. Instead you go to the quote BEFORE that because you don't know how english works.

In addition at no time was i asking plato.

Yup, you couldn't tell your own shit from Shinola if your dumbass depended on it.

Ahh yes, your traditional response when you know you've said something stupid and can't think of how to dig out :)

I also asked:  " Would it be possible to ask you to get your head out of your ass and have your own opinion?"   I take it that's a yes from you :)   LOL can't think for yourself but nice to see you admit it.

And i notice you completely ran away when you realized you were wrong about 'democracies' too :)  LOLOLOL

Man, there's so many fails here on your part it's hard to keep track of them all :)

Then what's the point?

To select qualified leaders who are presenting a reasonable and practical vision for the country that represents the thinking majority of the people within it, and who have the skills to carry that out, and also to remove those people from power who have proven to be corrupt or ineffective

That last part is one of the most important btw. You know, the one you hate.

In YOUR mind tho people shouldn't have that right, they should just accept your beloved liberal party which is why you get so angry every time someone suggests using voting to hold politicians to account :)

And that's precisely what I did.

Again, you're welcome.

Like I said, if I'd done that the Liberal would have won.

You're welcome.

Kid - YOU were the one who came back and said "well don't ask the right, ask this person".

I replied "i'm asking you, the other person isn't relevant".

For fcuks sake go take a grade 3 course in english till you figure it out. You're an embar rassment.

No, as pointed out i really shouldn't.  You were just too stupid to a) come up with something on your own and b) to realize what he said is completely irrelevant.

And that's precisely what I did.

As we have seen carney is in fact NOT a competent leader and the liberals AND carney are corrupt as hell yet you kept them in, so no you didn't.

LOL reduced to lies again i see.    And your best argument is "err... ummm... ahh.,,,  NO YOU!!!!"

Pathetic.

But I shouldn't expect someone who supports terrorists and the slaughter of innocent children as being acceptable because 1948 to support democracy.

Go ask Plato.

In The Republic, written some time around 375 BC, Plato argued that despite its many benefits, democracy had inherent flaws that would lead to its downfall.

He theorized that democracy’s emphasis on freedom and equality created conditions for a demagogue to spring forth and establish autocratic rule. In Plato’s mind, a republic, at its zenith, would celebrate enormous freedoms and reject forms of authority and self-restraint, which eventually would sow rampant public disorder.

Plato imagined a would-be dictator promoting himself as a protector of the values many in the country held dear. He would use lies and over-the-top rhetoric to bolster his views and positions. And he would incite foreign conflicts to distract the population and create a perception of strength and respect abroad.

Plato was likely talking about the PURE democracy they had in Greece. That's why we have a representative democracy because the FF knew Plato's teachings.

Plato also argued that the state must be grounded in the belief that a just, all seeing all knowing non-corruptible deity was essential for preventing government corruption and social excesses. I'm pretty sure the FF believed the same thing... politicians to this day still swear on stacks of Bibles, something millions upon millions of human beings attach a significant importance to right?

Maybe AI would work better.

OTOH just going back to nature for another 50000 years of evolution might be all we need.
