American voters elected President Trump (again) because of and despite such rhetoric.  Why is this so hard to understand ? Why would Trump change a thing ?

That's the idea...President Trump doesn't want to be normalized.   He is a populist with far better understanding of media power than his critics, including those in "boring" Canada.  Others are beginning to adopt Trump's methods, including Democrat Gavin Newsom, fighting fire with fire.

That is a loaded question. It was not "out of the blue" at all. This goes back to 2020 when the Trump administration listed them as a country of concern. 

He once again did this a couple of days ago after people in Congress had been lobbying him to do so again for what has been happening to Christians there. The leader of Nigeria responded on Saturday on social media to this. 

So, no, this was not just some random weekend "out of the blue" Trump decided to post what he did on social media. 

What is "leftist" is how you post what you do on here, just like you are doing now with your phony characterization of this as being "out of the blue"

Also, your further attempts to disingenuously misquote me as saying "deep leftist" when it was quite obvious I was saying your comments were "surface level deep"
