CdnFox Posted September 3, 2025 Report Posted September 3, 2025 Carney appoints interim budget watchdog as current officer's term ends | CBC News So the outgoing budget officer has been complaining and publicly: Out the fact that despite his term coming to an end the liberals have done nothing to arrange a replacement as they are supposed to. He's been saying this for almost a year, becoming more and more urgent about it over time. The libs have refused to consider anyone, and will now be appointing Jason Jacques as 'interim' watchdog. He's known to have liberal political leanings And he'll be nicely disposable, once the two unpopular budgets are gone and he's done his job he can go back to his current job with a nice bonus. And the liberals can appoint someone who is more in line with their thinking longer term. If the guy was good for the job they'd just appoint him permanently but they'll be looking for someone even more partisan to put in his place. This guy will keep his head down and not blow the whistle on the libs when he should, he'll be focused on going along to get along. Is it There is no reason in the universe not to have a full time replacement now, they've known about it for ages, other than they want to stack the office with someone 'loyal'. 1 Quote "That which doesn't kill me... No, they're great at it. The liberals are equally great at undoing the law. Do you need me to explain again that it is not possible to pass a law that a future gov't can't undo? Once again you blame the CPC for the liberal's corruption. "It's not the liberals fault for changing the law back it's that the conservatives can't magically pass a law the liberals can't change " I know. Justin was your hero and you don't want to hear anything against him. BUt the liberal's crimes are theirs not the cpc's. Quote "That which doesn't kill me... Had better start running."

And saying your paraphrasing changes nothing. Let me paraphrase, you said "i admit i like the idea of having sex with small children and i make my living by stealing my aged grandma's social security cheque while leaving her starving". Now, i was just paraphrasing so it must be true right? must be true because i paraphrased So how long have you been into small children? Quote "That which doesn't kill me...
