And what a complete dipshit plan it was.

This is yet one more left-wing bullet America dodged:

Over the past decade alone, extreme weather has significantly disrupted military readiness and driven tens of billions of dollars in damage and recovery costs across DOD. These extreme weather events, typical of those fueled by climate change, also impact training, testing, equipment availability, and infrastructure and thus compromise DOD's ability to execute its mission. As emphasized in the National Defense Strategy, accounting for climate change effects in strategic readiness planning and decision-making processes remains essential to secure our nation's defense.

Explain why it's a 'dipshit' plan

In the first line.

It doesn't matter what the weather's like. you do your training because the weather doesn't worry about the operation. You can't control the weather, so you do your f*cking operation anyways.

Get it?

We (US Millitary) have all weather capabilities but it does increase risk to our equipment and personnel. Both of which are expendable if the mission calls for it.

No, I don't 'get it'....  Did you miss the other contents in this plan…. Decision making, infrastructure, supply chain, innovation, etc. ?

If it was only about training outside regardless of the weather I’d ‘get it’.  It’s not though.  Get it?

The "other contents" leads to the same stupid objective.

The military is in the business of controlled violence against enemy countries, not in the business of fighting fictional man-made climate change.

We need badass professional soldiers, not climate activists.

Stupid...  it's cost ya'll a bunch of money bubba.  That's why there's a plan.  Get it?

The DOD has been forced to absorb billions of dollars in recovery costs from extreme weather events typical of

those fueled by climate change. This includes $3 billion to rebuild Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, after Hurricane

Florence in 2018; $3.7 billion to rebuild Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, after Hurricane Michael in 2018; $1 billion to

rebuild Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, after historic floods in 2019; and more than $3.5 billion to support recovery

efforts for military installations in Guam following Typhoon Mawar in 2023. Most recently, estimates show that an

extreme precipitation event at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, New York, in July 2023 caused more than

$200 million in damages to military training infrastructure.

Please do give us an example of "clean" energy.

The military is for fighting foreign enemies, not fighting man-made climate change.

NOW you've got it! ;)

MAGATS still don’t know the difference between weather and climate.

Weather and climate go hand in hand. If you live in a desert climate then you know the weather will be almist always sunny with little to zero precip.

So you think the US Dept. of Defense are a bunch of idlots?

No, they are directed by the left-wing nimrod Biden and his administration to draft up this garbage and focus on it.

Who brought up that a weather event is climate change?

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

Yes they are. Deserts are getting hotter and growing. Droughts are becoming longer and more severe. Oceans are warming causing stronger tropical storms, sea level rise and warm water species invading more northern waters threatening existing wildlife. Just a few effects of climate change.

That's what the activists keep spewing.

The truth is, the Earth is just doing its thing, and you a$$holes are trying to capitalize on the changes - you've been doing it for over a 100 years and normal people are just sick of it.

It’s not activists dumbass, it’s scientists. But you are too stupid to know the difference. It isn’t even debatable anymore for anyone with more than a dozen brain cells, or doesn’t have their head stuck in conspiracy echo chambers.

Attacking federal law enforcement officers, their vehicles, and their buildings is not "protesting," and those who are deployed are there to protect federal officers and property because the Democrats in charge are not doing enough to do so, and in some instances, outright encouraging and supporting that violence against the federal law enforcement.

I just commented on the military's other duties of late....factual right.  You haven't seen me in the ICE thread and you're not going to to get me into the convo here.  It is what it is..... just so awesome to see your president bringing together such a happy and united nation 👍
