If you don't believe that taking health insurance away from millions, cutting rural hospital funding, disregarding the environment and adding to an already significant $36T debt can't or won't be devastating for many in the short or long term you're missing it.

'Amusing' in that I'm shaking my head at the nonsense...  Also mentioned before, I don't have Trump Deification Syndrome.

Point out where it says health insurance is being taken away from millions.

Point out where rural hospital funding is getting cut.

Nobody gives a shit what you moonbats think about the environment, so we'll go ahead kick this shit to the curb.

Adding to the debt is never a good thing, and it's probably the democrats and RINOs who are doing that. There are 493 amendments, after all.

No, you're depressed and you need help with your Trump Derangement Syndrome. I can't help you with that, but I sure as hell can continue throwing your bullshit back in your face. ;)

You know what the different opinions are....

Moderate Republicans, or what remain of them, also quickly quit the field. Thom Tillis, a Republican from North Carolina facing down an uncertain re-election bid, expressed concerns about the bill’s massive cuts to Medicaid, the federal low-income healthcare program on which many Americans – and many of his constituents – rely.

Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania - I voted to strengthen Medicaid protections, to permanently extend middle class tax cuts, for enhanced small business tax relief, and for historic investments in our border security and our military," he added/ "However, it was the Senate's amendments to Medicaid, in addition to several other Senate provisions, that altered the analysis for our PA-1 community. The original House language was written in a way that protected our community; the Senate amendments fell short of our standard."

When the bill was sent to the House, a handful of Republicans threatened to withhold their votes over budget and Medicaid concerns. But no one believed them. They were always going to cave, abandon their stated principles and follow Trump’s orders, and they did. Trump, after all, had said that he wanted the bill passed in time for the Fourth of July; it passed on the third. He says jump, and the Congress asks: How high?

Trump megabill gives the oil industry everything it wants and ends key support for solar and wind

The president’s embrace of fossil fuels and hostility to renewable energy are reflected in his signature domestic policy law.

You are trying to push this on this forum, but are not capable of doing it yourself. Why?

I've fully explained it a number of times but you're not capable of understanding. Your Trump Deification Syndrome has you believing divisiveness is what the cool Maga crowd does.

No, you have not really explained it at all.

How does accusing me of having "Trump Deification Syndrome" help with unity?

Why do you push for unity, but continue to do the exact opposite here?

Show me the text. Don't tell me what someone else wrote. Don't tell me what someone's opinion is. Show me reality. Show me the actual text, the actual section of the bill that actually says that.

Not the intent...    America hasn't been great since the 50's.  What needs to be done to make it great in the 2020's?

Reduce the deficit

Secure the boarders

Stay out of forever wars

Rebuild our military

Reduce government waste, fraud, abuse

Reduce regulations

Stronger trade deals that incentivise American jobs

Return to local government dominance

Secure our elections

Im sure there is more, that is just a start. Some of that is in the bill. Some is not. But you can't eat the whole cow in one bite.

Trump's bill could add up to ~3.4T to debt

Doing that

Hopefully...

Always has and will be the strongest

Doge got mixed results....  Trump's weekend golf trips cost $26M to end of March.  Lots of waste there.

What regulations?

Trade stance hasn't helped so far.  America first has countries looking at diversifying their trade with others.  Unlikely the manufacturing Trump talk about is coming back.

Okay

Won't comment...

Trumps' got his bill now so the rubber hits the road. Futures up so seems market likes it so far.

Far from absurd...  It's what real leaders do.

The last time when you were asked an example of this you freaked out and had a hissy fit.

Are you prepared now to give an example of a real leader who really did that? Or at least a concrete example of what would represent that other than simply saying not what the other guys do?

Or is this all still pretty much made up in your head?

First, the number you quote doesn't account for economic growth. So it isn't true. In fact, the CBO is notorious for getting their estimates wrong:

https://thefga.org/research/scoring-cbos-scores-ten-of-the-worst-cbo-blunders/

Second, a lot of the DOGE cuts have to be brought to congress in rescission because most of them are discretionary spending. The problem with that is that a recession only lasts for a year.

Finally, you are avoiding the fact that you cant find a single problem with the bill by looking at the text. Go on. Find all this b.s. you claim is happening or admit that all you are doing is regurgitating liberal talking points because they have emotional value and you have no substance.

Why is it only the right actually greens bills? I always read the bill if I'm going to criticize it, and I never see anyone on the left doing that. It is utterly unfathomable to me.

I've commented on what many believe it will do to the deficit, healthcare and the environment.  Your choice to agree or disagree or whether you want to believe and understand the differing opinions from your elected officials, economists or public policy think tanks.   https://budgetmodel.wharton.upenn.edu/issues/2025/7/1/senate-reconciliation-bill-budget-economic-and-distributional-effects

No. I want you to back your position with facts. You can't do that. You've only listed opinions.

Here are some facts. Title 6 address the environmental concerns you have. It cuts funds to "clean energy" initiatives. However, that is where a bunch of politicians have funneled money to themselves. Like Stacey Abrams:

Quote

"Stacey Abrams linked Power Forward Communities received $2 billion in tax dollars in 2024 after reporting just $100 in revenue the year before.

https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/stacey-abrams-biden-epa-fund-green-energy-appliances-lee-zeldin-response

This is why cuts to environmental initiatives aren't disregarding the environment. They are stopping the siphoning of tax payer money to politicians.

As for kicking millions off Medicaid and Medicare, that claim comes from Title 7 Subpart B. It says:

Quote

``(a) In General.--Subject to subsection (b), an individual may be
entitled to, or enrolled for, benefits under this title only if the
individual is--
            ``(1) a citizen or national of the United States;
``(2) an alien who is lawfully admitted for permanent
        residence under the Immigration and Nationality Act;
``(3) an alien who has been granted the status of Cuban and
Haitian entrant, as defined in section 501(e) of the Refugee
Education Assistance Act of 1980 (Public Law 96-422); or
``(4) an individual who lawfully resides in the United
States in accordance with a Compact of Free Association
referred to in section 402(b)(2)(G) of the Personal

Now, who is missing from that list? Illegal aliens? That's pretty much it. Should we give free health care to illegal aliens? Hell no. That's an 80/20 issue that you are on the wrong side of.

As for the rural hospital claims, it just isn't in there any where. So, you need to find it to prove your point. I found my points and backed them with the actual bill.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

No, you choose not to lend any credibility to the many differing opinions, and of course you have to throw in a new conspiracy of the left only profiting from.   Move on....

Its not a conspiracy. It is a proven fact. The bigger issue here is that you assume that opinions that you like are true. I just gave you definitive proof that they are wrong. Yet, you cling to the lies because you like them. That is for your to evaluate and self correct.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?
