Being Canadian none make me cry, but find it amusing to think that taking away from healthcare, environmental protection and adding ~$3.5T to the national debt over the course of the bill is good for the country. Then why don't you go through the bill and point out the devastation? "Amusing" is not the vibe you give off when you post. It's more like weepy angst peppered with TDS. 1 Quote

The devastating part is that it doesn't serve foreign interests. The LPOC has its tongues up the b-holes of Saudi, China, Iran, etc, and that's the way they like it. 1 Quote If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed. If you don't believe that taking health insurance away from millions, cutting rural hospital funding, disregarding the environment and adding to an already significant $36T debt can't or won't be devastating for many in the short or long term you're missing it. 'Amusing' in that I'm shaking my head at the nonsense... Also mentioned before, I don't have Trump Deification Syndrome. Quote

Medicaid was never meant to be some kind of universal health care coverage plan for anyone and everyone. States are abusing it and places like California give it to illegal immigrants. These programs have continued to be pushed under Democrats, Republicans are pushing back. Quote

Prove that it * "[takes] health insurance away from millions" * "[cuts] rural hospital funding" * "[disregards] the environment" Quote Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

Your link is a set of opinions by people that don't like the bill. Post the actual wording that does those things with a plausible explanation of how the results you claim will happen actually happen. 1 Quote Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

No, it's the opinions from a number of different public policy institutes. Their comments are self-explanatory to the effect some of the policy changes will have. Quote

How can we prove that it isn't in there if they (and you) can't quote the bill? The link to the bill is posted above. Find the text that proves your point. The link of the bill simply lists its details, not impacts of. And yes, opinions of persons who are charged with delving into the bills details and likely outcomes. Cutting $930B from healthcare funding will undoubtably have an impact on many. No different than cutting clean energy tax credits is going to have a negative affect on the environment. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2025/07/03/opinion/domestic-policy-bill-in-charts.html Quote

That's the text of the bill. The TEXT. The actual bill. The law, as it is written signed (or will be soon, what time is he doing that?). That's not an opinion. Just show us where you think it is written that people will lose health care, cut funding to rural health care and disregards the environment. Ask your congress persons who pushed back because of cuts to healthcare why their opinion is that. The environmental impact is clear....tax cuts to clean energy will curtail investment and slow progress. Opening federal land and water for fossil fuel energy will increase activity. Quote
