Doug Ford at least seems to have a direction.

Carney? He's no Blair - let alone a Thatcher.

Carney has to deal with an irrational agent, in a chaotic political landscape.

He's the perfect man for an impossible job. I don't think he will succeed.

Because Trump irrationally frightened boomers.  60+ was the only age demographic that voted for Carney.

To a degree. According to a Leger poll taken after the vote, the over-60 crowd still voted for Poilievre a lot more than the youth crowd that was touted as being his.

44% of the 55+ crowd voted tory vs only 23% of the 18-24 year olds
46% of the 55+ voted Liberals, though, which is higher than usual. I think a lot were just impressed by his resume.

What are you talking about? Ford has been sitting in place for six years. He has no ambitions to do more. He has no vision and no interest in doing anything out of the ordinary or that might rock the boat. He's made no major changes in anything since being elected and has no evident interest in doing more than just squatting there in the premier's chair.

Contrasted against the McGuinty/Wynne Liberals, that's high praise for Dofo!

Sometimes all you have to do is not completely sh*t yourself to be better than the alternative.
