It's this really weird thing in American politics that's so different from Canadian politics. When a Canadian politician loses an election especially a federal election there is immediately a post-mortem and immediately a time of reflection and everybody starts to chip in and talk about the future direction of the party and if it needs to change and what they can do to be more appealing in the next election, they almost immediately go to a leadership review and a policy convention Herman whether or not the leader is suitable and it will debate and hash out the direction that the party should be going in and set some policy to move forward. All of this happens within a year, and then they have plenty of time for a leadership race and to get ready for and develop strategies for the next election In America they seem to completely disregard everything and basically go into the corner and sulk for about 2 years and there's hardly any conversation and certainly not a lot of organized discussion about where the party should go. Then they have a weird ass leadership race which is utterly bizarre where you get hunks of the electorate voting at different times for who the party leader is going to be and the last people in line color their choices based on what the first people voted and someone finally wins the nomination and you have a few months before they're into an election. The democrats don't even know what they are anymore and nobody's having that discussion, and that prevents them from being effective opposition. They're scattered and they're disjointed and they can't provide any kind of common front to address trump and they're just a hot mess and there's no real sign that that's going to change until right before the next election and it's kind of a bit late then I just don't get who the hell thought this model was a great idea Quote "That which doesn't kill me... Oh I don't think they'll claim it's an accident the second time. You can send them to a third party location legally. Quote "That which doesn't kill me... Had better start running."

It wasn't a mistake. Garcia is a criminal. It's not a case of "if", but when. Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.
