That guy was saying that we stripped  the illegals due process. When he went before the immigration judge and was told nope time to go and he wants a do over. You know like we get do overs as citizen, we get convicted of murder with a self defense claim, then they go no no we need to retry you based on an insanity plea and that is how our system works, right?

No, we get convicted of a crime we can appeal but that is based on the defense itself but how the trial was conducted.

In reality, appeals can be based on inadequate defense like when your lawyer is seen sleeping in court.

That is procedural, Im talking about you can't appeal your defense, so the judge cant rule that someone doesn't show he needs asylum and they get a retrial on fear for their life defense.
