These plants are slated to be online for 40-50 years. Still, "CANADA'S 8 COAL-FIRED POWERPLANTS HAVE TO GO OR THEY WILL DESTROY THE WORLD!!!!!" China is also building over 30 nuclear powerplants. I'm wishing for a gov't that is pro-Canada, just like the Chinese gov't is pro-China. If Trudeau hadn't chased away $130B+ in energy investment 10 years ago then we wouldn't be so far behind the 8-ball right now.
