We all know justin is as smart as a bag of horse sh!t, and we do know Carney was his advisor,

Which suggests Trudeau was probably too stupid to even know what good advice was never mind follow it.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

A remarkable sentiment considering how much lying and bullshitting Pierre Poilievre does, and how eagerly you believe literally everything he says.

According to La Presse, after the French leader's debate....just as a recent example.

There he was, still spinning his dumdum rhetoric about printing money, and about how it was all Carney telling Justin to do it.  Everything about that is wrong/stupid, but he doesn't care, and you don't know any better. so you believe him because you want to.

You're literally quoting a source called "the cult" who's referring to a "la presse" opinion piece.  And the examples they give are, not surprisingly, not true.  For example, Jagmeet said "guess how many houses he built?"  And then said six while PP said 200,000.

Not "affordable" housing, as the article suggests. And they did build 200,000 homes while he was minister, that DID get fact checked.

You should be ashamed of yourself for posting that.  It's the equivalent of posting a fox news story about Tucker Carlson's opinion that kamala told more lies.

In a way. It suggests that carney gave him bad advice and he was too stupid to realize how terrible it was. And now we're going to get that same bad advisor bringing his advice to the table directly.

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

He didn't lie. He just didn't tell the truth.

I faced the similar case last year in my personal life. Meeting a beautiful girl in a dance bar who was 25 years old (she made a move on me first not me on her) and we had good time and after a few days she accused me of not telling her my age (I look a couple of decades younger). I told her the same thing. I did not lie because I was never asked till now but when you asked then I told you the truth. I just didn't volunteer to tell the truth before. I do not see myself guilty and I do not regard Mark Carney guilty of lying for the same reason.

He deliberately mislead Canadians...by leaving our important parts of the conversation, and then telling us everything went well, like some how he had trump under control....misleading people is just as bad as lying to them...

Trump is crazy. He did not wish to make him angry and jeopardize his future negotiations with this mad revengeful man.

Sure, if that is what you tell yourself , but the PM of Canada is going to have to stand up for this nation eventually, and negotiate our trade agreement...what we seen so far is a yes man....i don't want to make him angry....sounds like a winning strategy....

A lie by Omission Is still a lie. If you believe she had reason to believe you were a different age than you were and you did not correct that and allowed her to continue believing that then you absolutely lied to her.

Sorry buddy.

Exactly. And allowing people to be deceived knowingly is lying whether it's by a mission or by action

This is absolutely ridiculous. What did you expect me to do? When introducing myself to say my name is ****** and my age is **? Did people introduce themselves by age in your time?. I am not a mind reader. How the hell could I know she thought I am in my 30's?

If I had gone after her you might have had a point but I did not. She came after me just like another dozen other ladies in their 20's per month. So she liked me as is or she liked what she saw. What do you expect me to do? To glue my birth certificate to my forehead. I take an offense to your post to divert a political discussion to a personal attack.

If you're that defensive you obviously know you're wrong.

I was quite clear. If you believe she was under a mistaken impression that you should have corrected her. I would say that shortly after you met if she gave you an indication that she thought you were younger or you had reason to believe that then in casual conversation just say I'm curious how old you are, I'm XX

Not complicated

I don't give a shit what you take offense to because you're a lying sack of crap as we saw on the other thread. And here you are defending another lie.

It doesn't matter who went after whom.

If you have to lie to get a girl then that doesn't say very much for you does it. Obviously it mattered to her if you're not just making up this story entirely which I would not put past you. Obviously you believed that she was under a mistaken impression and deliberately withheld that information, again if you're telling the story honestly.

A lie by omission is a lie. You are the one that brought this up, not me so if you feel that the conversation is being sidetracked you are the one who sidetracked it

And to get it back on track a lie by a mission is a lie when carney does it just as much. If he gave people the impression that something happened or that circumstances were a certain way when in fact they were the exact opposite that is a lie. You are deceiving people in a cowardly fashion. That's true whether it's from him to get votes or you to get a date
