blackbird Posted March 13 Report Posted March 13 (edited) I know nothing will convince diehard liberals that Canada has been self-destructing under Liberal governments, but these are the facts. " We have allowed our leaders to dictate an energy and economic agenda that cripples our own industries while the biggest polluters in the world — China, India, and Russia — continue full steam ahead, laughing at our self-imposed restrictions. We have killed pipeline projects that could have provided secure, affordable energy to our own citizens and trading partners. We have burdened businesses with regulations and taxes that make it impossible to invest in our own country. We have turned our back on the resource wealth that built this nation. Now, we are expected to believe that more of the same will somehow fix the problem? It won’t. A deliberate destruction of Canada’s economy Since 2015, Canada has lost more than $225 billion in capital investment — money that could have created jobs, built infrastructure, and secured our future. Instead of addressing why businesses are leaving, our leaders have doubled down on anti-growth policies, making it harder for companies to operate." KLEIN: Canada is digging its own grave: Total economic ruin Since Trudeau believed that Canada was a post-national state and was more of a globalist, it is not hard to imagine Trudeau and his type believed we should become a globalist country under the dominion of organizations like the U.N. and the World Economic Forum. He spent much of his time and our money jetting around the world to attend every international function one could imagine. But this ideology of the Liberals (and NDP) has made Canada a basket case economically although we have massive natural resources buried in the ground. It is very hard to build resource industries in Canada because of all the roadblocks. Edited March 13 by blackbird Quote

herbie Posted March 13 Report Posted March 13 Oh come on you carry on with the Pisser's claim the country's falling at the exact time it's pulling together as never before. Touting their non-existent economic plan that seems to be built solely on the basis of not only denying climate change but increasing emissions as a necessary fact. On wishes and dreams like how most Canadians want trans Canada pipelines but pretend someone will build them. Yeah we all want a free lunch too, but no one's offering to buy it, 1 Quote
