It's not a rational statement. You're not eliminating those departments, they are reducing the number of employees.

So at the end of the day if you're going to make any kind of argument against that move you would have to demonstrate why every single one of those employees was necessary for the provision of the services that Americans want to have.

I absolutely guarantee you will be unable to do that even with an intimate knowledge of that bureaucracy. There WILL be fat there. 

So obviously there is room to cut. The real question is are they cutting too much? Are they cutting enough? What are those agencies doing that require all of those people and should we be refocusing them?

And you have no answers for any of that so you've taken attack that right off the bat somebody with a knowledge of grade 4 level logic or better can blow out of the water.

 

Perhaps what you should be commenting on and thinking about is the lack of scrutiny going into this to determine whether or not the cuts are appropriate or perhaps a lack of reporting after the fact for them to explain why they feel it's not inappropriate and why they feel the cuts were beneficial and what the end result will be.

 

But you took the easy route out and are instantly dismissed as being silly. Yet there are real concerns and questions to be asked that are valid.

 you need to slow down and start to think and stop listening to your damn echo chamber and talking points. You're not entirely stupid, tear off without thinking and come across as being slightly dumber than a  boiled potato
