What a coincidence. Everyone is laughing at you on the other forum you are at, sluggo.

Laugh on . . . who cares?  Doesn't change the sad fact that Canada has a narcissistic underachiever for a PM, and that wankers like you put him there. Have a great day.

Competent? Effective? Caring about the alberta and people she represents? Not afraid to get things done? Smarter than you?

Probably.

She was right back when she crossed the floor of course.  She said if they didn't come together as one party the ndp would win.  Well they didn't and the ndp did.

Smart girl.

Oh he's trying the same Trump shit that all Con-servatives are. Going to court to try to overturn one riding even though it was decided by a judicial recount. And gum flapping the same bullshit as Poilievre how he'll bring down the govt at the earliest opportunity. Not a single positive or remotely beneficial thing to offer whatsoever.
Just the usual CANTservative snivelling, axe the tax, end EV rebates, make them back down from the auto mandate in 2035, wah we can't build more electrical in only 10 f*cking years, wah why can EVs use the HOV lane when "I" can't. Usual right wing victims bawling wah just cuz the town I live in is 40% Indigenous how dare you "make me" hire any?

YA know the usual BS that makes up 90% of this forum.

If the Tariffs remain, Albertans will finally turn on Smith and the UCP. If she attends Trump's inauguration, it will be political suicide. Smith has clearly sided with America over Canada, and she needs to resign.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Look at that limp wrist handshake. And it was not even the first time that a UCP leader screamed to the rooftops that they would fight Ottawa, tooth and nail, only to look like a petulant child when actually meeting with Ottawa. The same thing happened to Jason Kenney before.

The UCP are our misfortune. They are the worst political part in Canadian history.

Actually not what he said. He said that the province should be working with Trump on border issues. Of course ignoring that border issues are not a provincial jurisdiction.

It's great, it was great In that order :)

I take it you're trying to get information to doxx me?  That sounds about your speed as a leftist.  No dice kiddo :)

I grew up hunting and fishing  across most of the western provinces, had a good upbringing in a middle class home and went on to do well for myself :)

All of which is more than we can say for you it would seem :)   You're hilarious! Have another drink!

You mean he said that we should stop illegal border crossings?  That's what he said today.

So you're PRO illegal border crossings?  Why is that?

The border itself isn't but there's a lot a province can do. This already happens:

Provinces in Canada work with the federal government to strengthen border security. The federal government is responsible for the border itself, but provinces can help by:

  • Deploying resources: Provinces can use their resources to patrol areas near the border

  • Creating plans: Provinces can create plans to enhance security at international borders

  • Working with law enforcement: Provinces can work with local law enforcement to intercept illegal drugs and organized crime

sask is  already moving on that

I wish Canada would elect leaders on integrity. At one point of time, we actually did that. Now days, it's polarised and hatred of the other guy, is the paramount.

You've supported the libs for the last 10 years and say that.

It should be obvious to even the dimmest person that nothing would make Trump happier than to see us fighting among ourselves. But apparently not.

Well I saw this in Danielle Smith over 10 years ago, when she crossed the floor, with many other opportunists in the old Wildrose Party. The day after the NDP ended up coming to power, seeing Smith squirm on Twitter, when pretty much every single right wing pundit blamed her for the defeat of the PC Party was something to behold.

I honestly cannot believe she recovered, and made a comeback. I mean her radio show was borderline QAnon, with Theo Fleury and Jamie Sale among the regular guests. We all know what we were getting when the UCP elected Smith to run the province. It's not the least bit surprising that she has no integrity, and only looks out for herself.

Aside from that, one has to admire her self-preservation skills. If this was Vichy France, she would have been the chief collaborator to the Nazis. History will not be kind to her.

Tell us your experiences growing up.  How did your intense dislike (hatred) for personal initiative and being responsible for yourself develop?

You think it's an accident? This all started when trudeau tried to axe Freeland  and those two blew up. Trump's response to that and since has been so weak that he knew that he's letting a bull loose in a china shop.

Everybody with half a brain knows that this is what he wanted. So in chaos before a negotiation is textbook trump. But there's really no way around it right now. Justin waited way too late to step down and Freeland waited way too late to torpedo him and now we are where we are and there's no going back.

With a lack of leadership at the federal level the provinces are going to do what they feel they have to and inevitably there will be disagreements as to how the best way to proceed is

He did say that, but also made the comment on how we should give him what he wants.
The border issue was addressed by Trudeau. Who got a kick in the ass to address the real issue - the other direction at the border, which he's been stalling
