OK fine. I wouldn't have said that if you had been clearer in the beginning. I think it is quite possible that someone would use it to stir up hatred toward a particular group. It has happened many times in history. Gulf of Tonkin and Second Gulf War in your own.

Unfortunately I don't think they had any real options at that time. They could sell the idea of going to the vice president but if they had tried to hold some sort of miniature leadership race in like 2 weeks it probably would have been an unmitigated disaster that divided the party more than anything.

They needed to keep Biden out of it from the beginning and let a normal nomination take place and unfortunately for the democrat voters  that just didn't happen

Yes, Biden should not have run. Him and Jill probably both knew well before 2024, that Biden was experiencing cognitive decline. For him to screw over his party like that, was very selfish.

True. I mean he still denying that there's any issue and still mad that he got pushed out at this late stage despite it being so obvious. And Jill was attending important meetings for quite a while, so obviously they knew there was something up. Since when does the wife of the president somehow become involved in the negotiations and talks with other groups about the business of the country?

If the rumors and accusations are to be believed, the entire family makes a lot of its money based around Biden's influence one way or another. I suspect there was a lot of pressure for him to keep going if he could

I noticed a complete lack of Robo's unhinged post about Maga cultists ever since the revelation that they had Free Gaza on the devices.

Strangely I didn't have them on my bingo card for this but they either have been quiet lately or the media is covering for the Dems by not publicizing their actions.

What's the point of controlling the media if you can't use it to your advantage in an election? As Robo would say,  Duh!!
