Montgomery Burns Posted April 14, 2006 Author Report Posted April 14, 2006 I'll give progressive icon Ward Churchill credit for one thing; he had the guts to show up and face Sean Hannity, unlike Alec "I'm a gonna move to Canada if Bush wins" Baldwin. Or Howard Dean for that matter, who still ignores O'Reilly's calls for him to appear on the No-Spin Zone. He's the head of the DNC and he refuses to appear on the #1 rated cable news show on TV. Montgomery Burns Posted April 14, 2006 Author Report Posted April 14, 2006 Alec Baldwin offers some compassionate commentary, liberal style! “Many people have commented on these pages that the Democrats will not do any better [if they regain power]. I believe in my heart that this is overwhelmingly untrue. If you are talking about weasels like Zell Miller, then you may have something. If you are talking about Lieberman, I agree he is a disappointment, in many ways.” Slam two of the most credible Democrats around. “Impeaching Cheney would be incredibly satisfying, because I don't think a Constitution-hating sociopath should serve as Vice President. But that's how bad this situation is. Even a hate-filled maniac who outs a CIA agent in the service of her country just to punish her husband, all because the husband was on to the maniac's scheme to start an illegitimate war, even he gets a Get-Out-of-Jail-Free card from this GOP Congress.” Well, at least he is not a hatemonger like Ann Coulter. Then Baldwin ends it with a touch of patriotism: “I've said it before, I'll say it again: What is truly great about the United States is that not even eight years of some trust fund puppet and his sociopathic puppeteer can destroy this country.” Oh brother! As for Black Dog's laughable claim that Alec Baldwin does not have influence in the Democrat Party...who is this person standing beside him? That looks like...it is it is....Bill Clinton! Slavik44 Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 I have a picture with me standing next to mickey mouse, you wouldn't belive the influence I have over Disney. Anyways I went and listend to the audio clip of their conversation, and for the most part I feel like a just heard a bunch of kindergartners go at it. It was full of lame insults and completely lacking substance. After that I watched a number of other clips that are on the internet, again I couldn't help but notice he seems to invite the biggest idiots, the greatest wackjobs, and some of the dumbest people I have ever seen on to his show, which probabley explains why he wanted Baldwin in the first place. I can't help but want Hannity to deliver a serious ass whooping when people like Phelps ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_i0UjxP0BBY&search=hannity ) and Crook ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7vssO8jj1E&search=hannity ) appear on his show, maybe he has debates with more reasonable people, but from wha tI watched he debated nut jobs, and his central arguement seemed to arise from a belief that it was wrong to question a president during war time. I wonder where Clinton got the idea to rent out a famous room in the White House to hollywood celebrities. The Hanks? Streisand? Baldwins? Quote

In listening to right-wing wackos like Hannity and Limbaugh, it appears as though everything from the price of gasoline to the Iraqi war is solely Bill Clinton's fault. It is obvious that Hannity called in expressly to attack and sabotage Baldwin't interview. Quote
