Again the fact you dummies think this is about simple political disagreements shows you either don't understand your own fellow travellers or are being deliberately dishonest, so which is it?

I have family members who are conservatives, but it's fine because they don't constantly shriek about politics. If they were the kind of people who treated every family gathering as a chance to vent about whatever thing the TV man told them to be mad about, yeah I'd cut them out because that's a**hole behaviour.

You assume every conversation in my home is about politics.

Dear Gawd...please stop making so many stupid people?

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

None of those are actual substantive critiques

I haven't heard a critique of any kind from the leftists on here toward Kamala. She was just anointed and like faithful soldiers you are all on board. Not even the slightest admission. "Yeah, she can be pretty ditsy sometimes. But I still like her more...."

Where did I say that? I swear you're sundowning in real time here.

LOL you seem to have mistaken this place as a venue for good faith dialogue.

No?

And yet I have seen people like CdnFox and others admit these kinds of things about Trump. Nothing like that from the left. Pure cultist loyalty.

None of which is meaningful in anyway, you might as well accuse Trump of being a little too handsome.

I haven't seen many criticisms but I haven't seen any fawning over her either. Mostly folks are just defending her against the bad faith attacks by magacultists like you. Personally I would appreciate a stronger stance on Israel/Gaza and commitments to reproductive rights and court reform.

ROFMAO!!!!

Holy shit how many times have you painted yourself into a corner in the same thread so far? :)

I've said he's a liar and unprofessional and vengeful....   oh wait, you're a democrat, maybe you really DO think all of those things are great in a leader :)

And you'd still vote for him if you could, so what does that matter?

LOL  so you're adding self delusion to the list as well :)   We'll get a new counter going for you :)

It matters that i'm aware of the candidates flaws and can freely admit them. If i still decide he's the best candidate knowing that after looking at the other choice and seeing it's worse

Wheras you'd just blindly support someone without even thinking about it or caring whether the other person is better or worse,

ANd stop downvoting people just because they make you look bad a little. It makes you look worse. It's what a child would do.

LOL at least you don't just lie to everyone else here, you also lie to yourself. There was never going to be another candidate you'd consider from the other side, you're as hyperpartisan as you can get.

I mean the fact you know the guy is a piece of shit but support him anyway is in some ways worse than pretending he's god like so many other magatards do.

People like you need to believe that. Despite the evidence staring you right in the face you absolutely must believe that the other side is unwilling to even consider any other choice.

in reality, that's just projection.  As i've shown. our side makes its decisions eyes wide open. Yours does not.  It's that simple.

No I believe you would have lined up for any other generic Republican too. But you're a Canadian with literally no skin in the game so the idea that you are representative of GOP voters is as retarded as everything else you believe.

This is cope. When was the last time you saw anything like this from Republicans at their own convention?

Quote

Dozens of protesters broke through a security fence near the site of the Democratic National Convention on its opening day Monday as thousands took to the streets to voice their opposition to the war in Gaza.

The notion that the left marches in lockstep with no criticism or dissent can only come from someone who doesn't know any leftists except those in his imagination.

I was talking about my experience with conservative family members; why on earth would you think I'm talking about you? You're a delusional narcissist on top of being a dummy, huh.

Easy to say when those guys were never, ever going to be the candidate.

When I think back to the early stages of the primaries, I wasn't completely sure who I supported. I listen to a variety of podcasters on our side of the fence. Guys like Dave Rubin and Ben Shapiro were favoring DeSantis, and they were making a good case. In many ways, I think he is a far superior candidate to Trump. I think he is more professional. I think he has a better understanding of politics. I was actually leaning toward him at first. Also, Trump had already lost an election.

Some younger people I listen to were more into Vivek. I like Vivek, but he is still kind of new to the game. Trump is a lot rougher around the edges than DeSantis or Ramaswamy, but I think it's the prosecutions that actually make me favor him. Whether you agree or not, a lot of us see the cases against Trump as very excessive. That in itself is not a reason to support him. I don't support Trump because of a rebellious reaction to the lawfare. It's more the fact that he basically walked into it. I don't think Trump is really even all that conservative. But he was willing to go through the fire. He could go to jail. I don't think that this was on the cards until he announced he was running. I am not sure Vivek or DeSantis would be willing to do that. Trump is very tough in a way. I mean, I don't think he would be tough in a street fight or anything like that. But he is pretty stubborn. That's why I think people like him.

If lawfare is the game Democrats want to play with their political opponents, then you need someone who is going to take it.

Thank you for underscoring the point that the GOP is not a political party in any meaningful sense but rather a cult of personality centred around Donald Trump. And you guys are stuck with him until he croaks.
