myata Posted September 27, 2024 Author Report Posted September 27, 2024 (edited) Have a good relationship: with Hitler. Really, he just couldn't hold it back. Sees nothing wrong, in the picture. "... and I also have a very good relationship, as you know, with President Putin" (Global) If and when someone pretending to run for the leader of the free world says that, implying that an aggressive totalitarian dictator, modern Hitler and why not? can be seen as the legitimate president, it, in itself is a statement. Never, in centuries of proud American democracy has anything like this happened before. But he sees nothing wrong with it, in plain sight and under the brightest of sun. Only "president". Nothing about the war criminal under an international warrant. No: we cannot take it for normal, and treat as innocent funnies. It's way and far over the line of minimal normalcy. Who can say, they didn't see it? Who could claim, we didn't know? Edited September 27, 2024 by myata Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

myata Posted September 27, 2024 Author Report Posted September 27, 2024 We can't avoid seeing this: "a very good relationship, as you know, with President Putin" for what it is: a real, factual and material assistance to a warranted war criminal, initiator fully responsible for a criminal war of aggression in Europe, unprecedented since the times of WWII. Trivializing his crimes. Normalizing and propping his status and legitimacy. Nothing to question or doubt here: in his own words. This is a fact now that went in the history. Why, though? Why would anyone want to do that? We can try to see and dissect it. First, the cookie. The posture of an instance peacemaker, but giving the thug all that he asked fore. Easy, done. Is it all there's to it though? Wait. Next layer. There are people in the world to whom the law should not apply, who are greater and above it. Yes, he said and implied that much on a number of occasion to the wild chorus of his cult. Decades, almost a century of a great democracy went into building a society where universality of law is not questioned. It was not guaranteed to be so. We could have had presidents vetoed and approved by the family - as is the reality in any number of countries. He doesn't like that. And that is another common ground for the attachment. Imagine the future where a circle of "tough" rulers would decide the fate of peoples and laws? Of course, we knew. But even that may not be the final destination. In the world of chaos, with no rules, no laws way past any principles who will give us the ground, foundation of safety and security? Where to seek them? The cult knows: in Him. The only source of wisdom and truth. Forever. History made a full circle, alternative for now. But here, no place for naivety or complacency: we knew well where playing with these things can end up. It's taught and shown in every textbook. Sure, we knew. Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

myata Posted September 28, 2024 Author Report Posted September 28, 2024 (edited) There's nothing here we couldn't see. Losing the count of times he spilled his love and admiration for Vlad the thug, the war criminal - most recently, yesterday, 27.09.2024 just ask yourself: when was the last time you heard from him about the international law and justice? That's right. The facts, the reality they tell us all there's to know. He "knows" someone. Has "very good relationships". That's all he needs and where would be the need for the law? He's ready, and couldn't even hold it back, to move on from the world of democracy and law to that of the mob, where problems are "fixed" by a circle of "tough" guys who happen to "know" each other. Think of it. Because words, excuses won't go for much if it begins to happen. We knew very well what the options were. And the choice is ours. myata Posted September 28, 2024 Author Report Posted September 28, 2024 This is as clear as it will ever get: this isn't about policies. This is about the power and changing the rules. Changing them from the law and democracy to the mob ones: "I know you, you know me let's fix it". What law? Why would we need it, here? Over a century America struggled and fought, hard at times, to establish the law that would apply to everybody. But with the Time, there are no guarantees. Each generation has to prove its worth to it and no magical escapes or universal disclaimers. He wants to change that. He tried. He will try again. That's what he would do in the world: fact. And that's what he would try to do in America. Yes we can choose this way and that, we are free that's certain; one thing we couldn't do though is to pretend that we didn't know what it was about; and to ask for excuses and miracles. Nobody is listening. It makes all sense to choose right. Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

myata Posted September 28, 2024 Author Report Posted September 28, 2024 The mob rule: in the world and in America. That seems to be the proposition, objectively and factually. Who didn't know? Who's thinking that anything would fix itself somehow and the future is assured and guaranteed no matter what we do? The choice is ours. And it will determine our future. myata Posted September 28, 2024 Author Report Posted September 28, 2024 (edited) Russia is upping its nuclear bluff in the United Nations today just as the lying cult is preparing to give in to the international bullies. For generations, since the early days of America it was a clear principle: politics take second place to the interests of the nation. Here we have nothing less that the rule of law, international order at stake. If the rules are not written for some, if they can be violated at will, what are they there for, and who? Not anymore. This is the first when a politician and a cult he leads openly side with the enemy of the free world. Two years back Vlad made ultimatums to NATO not Ukraine. Today, he tries to scare the West. An !diot wouldn't know. The liar will pretend to not understand. So, it's not about the stripe. Nothing to do with ideology. But the right and brutal, hellish evil do exist. Of course we knew. And the choice is ours. Edited September 28, 2024 by myata Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant
myata Posted September 30, 2024 Author Report Posted September 30, 2024 This is easy, really: if Vlad should just get what he wants for his "peace" then what is the meaning of the law, the entire international environment world was trying to build for eight decades after WWII? Is it done, over now? Will all matters and conflicts be decided by the small circle "who knows"? Note a parallel here too: for over a century, America fought and struggled to establish the rule of universal law that applies to every citizen regardless of status or anything else. Someone hasn't been happy with it. So, should the law be limited to regular folk and some, ascend above and beyond it? Simple questions. But with the thing knows as the Time there are no obvious, easy questions that are decided for the eternity and we could go to rest blissfully. No, no. We can choose and decide otherwise. We can end it if we like, most certainly. This is a choice, not a given. And the choice is ours. Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant
myata Posted September 30, 2024 Author Report Posted September 30, 2024 I don't think we can glance over the fact that he never mentions the law, what is right but who he knows and how well. What does it mean when he knows a warranted war criminal, a factual modern equivalent of Hitler, "has very good relationship" with him and implies that he has democratic legitimacy? Between the rule of the law and the mob rule where is the middle ground? No, we can't ignore that. Can't hide behind policies. We knew everything. Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant
myata Posted October 7, 2024 Author Report Posted October 7, 2024 "Tough on Vlad"? In what distorted, fantasy world? "Donald Trump reportedly asked Vladimir Putin for his advice on whether the US should help arm Ukraine at their first in-person meeting." (while in office, 2017) Ask a dictator who three years earlier invaded an independent European country for his opinion. What speeches do we need to hear, having working eyes and a brain? myata Posted October 8, 2024 Author Report Posted October 8, 2024 We know all there's to know about this. There's nothing normal about it, and not within a thousand miles of normal for a great democracy. myata Posted October 11, 2024 Author Report Posted October 11, 2024 So Vlad got scared of this new thingy that his crappy country build on sh*t, saliva and rusty cold-war era metal scraps with a generous dollop of brutality and corruption had no real answers to (and how could he not know it?) and reached out to his "very good relationship" buddy who just couldn't say no to him. The question is: why? Why did he have to oblige and couldn't say no to Vlad? Is it basic humanity, to bloodthirsty thugs (Georgia, Syria, Ukraine, Africa)? What did he America get for it, when those were in short supply for Americans? Or they (thugs) have something in his balls? At this time, one cannot reasonably pretend that it's only coincidences: just too many and too often. Something is going with Vlad - to remind, a strategic adversary of America, who made commitment to bring down NATO. And it all is right before our eyes. Who could pretend that we didn't know? myata Posted October 12, 2024 Author Report Posted October 12, 2024 (edited) "Tough on Vlad"? Our eyes tell a different story. In February 2018 in Syria, under general command of the US Commander in Chief Gen. Mattis, U.S. marines inflicted a devastating defeat on advancing Russia mercenary troops, with an overwhelming superiority in troops and military equipment including tanks. (battle of Khasham). By the later part of the year, Trump's plans on withdrawal from north-eastern Syria became known effectively ceding the control of the previously stabilized part to Syrian dictator Asad, a close ally of who? Iran and Russia, just in case. These plans caused Gen. Mattis's resignation. "On December 20, 2018, after failing to convince Trump to reconsider his decision to withdraw all American troops from Syria, Mattis announced his resignation effective the end of February 2019; after Mattis's resignation generated significant media coverage, Trump abruptly accelerated Mattis's departure date to January" Do go ahead and find out more details. All information is in the public domain. The result: an initial astounding success turned into two gain points for the dictators: strengthening of the position in the region; and getting rid of a competent and respected military leader in the US. Gained who? "Toughness", where? We will continue to review the lies of fake and false "toughness" that never left any traces in this reality. Should we trust our eyes, or lies in the ears? We'll have to pick one. Thinking cannot be avoided in these cases. Edited October 12, 2024 by myata Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant
myata Posted October 16, 2024 Author Report Posted October 16, 2024 (edited) Let's look at the latest events in Ukraine: - Russians suffered serious setback in the North of Ukraine having been pushed out of important positions with high losses. - Elimination of Russian forces in the Russian region of Kursk ongoing, providing much needed relief to the pressure in other fronts. - In the first combat experience, Ukrainian F-16 supplied by the allies destroyed Russian bomber. None of that looks good for Vlad, world-infamous war criminal thug. Will he be looking to who? which of his buddies to get him out of the pickle he set himself by his own criminal acts? We cannot ignore that we see and know. Sanity matters. Edited October 16, 2024 by myata Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

myata Posted October 16, 2024 Author Report Posted October 16, 2024 The user here reminded me of another factual story, thanks. In 2017, after a heinous chemical attack by Syrian government led by war criminal thug Assad, a close associate of another war criminal thug - could it be a mere coincidence? - the ostensibly "tough" president ordered a strike on the Syrian airfield from which criminal attacks on civilian population were launched. With one essential caveat though: Vlad (the thug) received a several hours lead on the strike, and could you believe it? immediately passed it on to his buddy, the Syrian thug. The result? Guess it. 59 Tomahawks wasted on an empty area, but with an appearance of great "toughness". Three years of "weak" Joe: and the thug forgot how to say "NATO" - a total memory wipe. Four years of "tough" leader - the thugs advance in Syria and Afghanistan, feel emboldened to launch a full scale invasion in Europe. Trust your eyes, not the lies of a twisty tongue. Sanity exists for a reason. Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant
