Actually, yeah they are nearly just that. Once the executive has claimed privilege over those conversations Congress would need an extraordinary court case to pry them loose. And with the transcripts already available, that certainly won't happen.DOA.

What is the legitimate purpose of having this audio recording?  They have the transcript, so they want it so they can put edited snippets on the Internet in order to attack him politically.  This is not a Constitutional function of Congress.

LOL, again, you admit this is all politics. Garland is keeping this to protect Biden from how we all know how awful he will look.
