Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But you are not entitled to your own facts.

Just like your AI that you had to rewrite?  ROFLMAO. :)

I have to ask, do you think this little performance of yours makes you look anything other than like a childish Re-tard? I'm just wondering how deep yourself delusion goes :)

I do not mean to argue, II am ignorant of gun rules,  am just confused.

I understand the intent of the law but the Act says "New maximum thresholds for muzzle energy (greater than 10,000 Joules) and bore diameter (20 mm bore or greater) are also in place. Any firearm that exceeds them is now prohibited. A Criminal Code amnesty period is currently in effect to October 30, 2025. The amnesty is designed to protect individuals or businesses who, at the time the prohibition came into force, were in lawful possession of a newly prohibited firearm from criminal liability while they take steps to comply with the law." https://www.publicsafety.gc.ca/cnt/cntrng-crm/frrms/index-en.aspx

In this case (related to the topic) I suspect the contractor that got the job would still be in line with the law?

Like i said, ask Canadian tire if they can sell or buy AR-15 type rifles, the liberals state the ban was to take effect upon the bill passing, that has already taken place, Any owner of these weapons can hold on to them but they are not to leave your house No firing the weapon at a range or hunting anything...they are Illegal, get caught breaking any of these conditions will result in "all" your firearms being taken away forever without any compensation...

The liberals had an end date on the return ,but still have not found the funding for the buy back...hence why there is a delay, without a buy back.  Oct 30 , 2025 is when owners have to turn their firearms in...today there is a ban on using them, not owning them...

Gun laws in Canada are some of the most regulated any western nation...The items that were in your source document are illegal's here in Canada, as is hunting from a helicopter...so and i am only assuming there is a provision in the contract that allows them to use all these illegal weapons...but why would your media source state any of that if it was not true...meaning thats what they are using to accomplish the contract...once again the government is saying do as i say not as i do.

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

You haven't been allowed to hunt with ARs in Canada for decades even before the ban. You can't hunt with restricted weapons and ARS have been restricted forever. It's been illegal to hunt with restricted firearms in British Columbia and in fact all of Canada since the 90s

So yeah, they let people who would nomally not b allowed to have a Hunting license use firearms that would normally be illegal to hunt from a motorized vehicle which is absolutely illegal and from the air which is also expressly illegal And pay millions and millions to do it rather than just let local hunters handle it for free by lifting the restrictions and creating an open season and encouraging people to go. Or if they wanted to spend a few bucks put a bounty out. People would have flocked there to hunt meat and get paid to do it
