CdnFox Posted May 8, 2024 Report Posted May 8, 2024 https://globalnews.ca/news/10480761/hardeep-singh-nijjar-suspect-canadian-student-visa/ One of the suspects accused of gunning down B.C. Sikh temple leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar entered Canada using a study permit that he said took only days to obtain. In a video posted online in 2019, Karan Brar said he applied for a student visa through EthicWorks Immigration Services in Bathinda, in India’s Punjab state. He said he received his study visa days later, according to a translation of his Punjabi-language statement. A separate Facebook page that appears to belong to Brar said he began studying at Bow Valley College in Calgary on April 30, 2020, and moved to Edmonton on May 4, 2020. A college spokesperson confirmed a Karan Brar was enrolled in the Hospital Unit Clerk program in 2020. The program spans eight months, raising questions about why he remained in Canada years later. It takes us years to get a doctor or a nurse in - this guy shows up for an 8 month course and is still here 3 years later when he kills someone, apperently at the request of the India gov't. Our immigration system is so flawed it is beyond insane 2 Quote There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data
exPS Posted May 9, 2024 Report Posted May 9, 2024 Interesting that the news, at least main stream media news, never mentions if the gun used was legally or illegally bought and owned. Funny about that. 🙄 Quote Definitely not a YES man aka "a follower". The prime directive of any government from the City to the Federal level is to implement the wishes of the people, so let us vote on-line on how we spend my tax dollars.

Funny about that. 🙄 Sure they do, all the time.. if it was legally owned they just don't mention it if it was obtained illegally. Which is almost all cases so it seems like they don't mention it. Can't have it pointed out that legal owners aren't the source of guns. Quote There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data

But there's a lot of real anti gun psychos out there and a lot of people who make money off of them as well. Turning one group against another group was kind of always justin's thing politically, it's how he obtained power. Gun owners vs non gun owners was just another chance to turn canadian against canadian for votes and lols. Another fact is take DUI (booze & drugs) and Distracted Driving (texting) fatalities into account, they far exceed gun related fatalities which by the way are caused by illegal guns and low lifes. But politicials won't touch alcohol as there is too much tax money in it for them. I watched Justin in an interview when he said gun ownership is OK for hunters and recreational shooters, but he said they cannot be used for self defence. In that case Justin, why do you have security with guns to protect you. I hate double standards. If gun haters hate guns, well maybe we should ban cell phones. I would know as I spent months on crutches due to a driver on a cell phone. 1 Quote Definitely not a YES man aka "a follower". Maybe we could have restricted and non restricted cell phones? Would that help? Limited capacity (battery) magazines so they can't endanger people for TOO long without recharging? Dorai Posted June 21, 2024 Report Posted June 21, 2024 About Nijjar: in addition to the 3 arrested and the secrecy around how they came to Canada and able to stay, I have questions about Nijjar himself. A wanted man for terrorism in India but escaped and entered Canada as a refugee but rejected by Immigratin Canada; within a week after rejection he marries a Sikh girl from Vancouver who sponsors him; Immigration Canada rejects him again. All this is publc infor and reported by main streem media although scantily. How then he became a Canadian citizen is unknown as the Canadian Govt has burried that detail under the secrecy act as pointed out by former journalist, Pamela Wallen (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpfJNUMDR5o). Wallin also suggests that some politicians were likely bought out to push through Nijjar's appliction. With that ignonimous back ground about Nijjar (who the Canadian Govt calls a humble plumber), my question is, what has this man done for Canada to deserve the Canadian parliament's one minute silence to observe his death this week. What am I missing? Quote
