Israeli missile hits Iran, U.S. officials confirm

Two U.S. officials confirm to CBS News that an Israeli missile has hit Iran. The strike follows last weekend's retaliatory drone and missile attack against Israel, which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had vowed to respond to.

Officials were tightlipped about the location or extent of the Israeli strike. When reached by CBS News, the Israel Defense Forces had no comment on the attack.

Iran’s response if Israel takes any further military action against it would be “immediate and at a maximum level,” Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told CNN Thursday, as fears rise of an escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.

“In case the Israeli regime embarks on adventurism again and takes action against the interests of Iran, the next response from us will be immediate and at a maximum level,” Amir-Abdollahian told CNN’s Erin Burnett in an exclusive interview in New York.

 

 

Looks like we may have us a real shootin' war pretty quick.

I think I ran wants to avoid a war at all costs. But obviously they will look weak as hell if they don't do something. It'll be interesting to see how Biden reacts if Israel and iran go at it

Biden will be taking a nap. It's how his woke handlers will respond that raises concerns.

• Iran fired 100 drones and missiles at Israel, and not one of them hit their target. Not one.
• Israel fired 1 missile at a military base, and it hit.

I'm hearing that Iran fired over 300 missiles and drones.

And that more than half of them were intercepted by the US military.
