No you're not. Illegitimate ones are refused. You're claiming they're not.

We accept 78% of those who claim asylum. You'd have to be the most naive person in the world to believe these people are all legitimate refugees. Especially when there's such huge traffic back and forth to their home countries from these 'new Canadians'.

Along with not being a Judge or having the qualifications to be on the deciding board that you know better than those that do. You just don't "like" it that your opinion is ignored, uninformed, wrong and hateful.

What really pisses you off is that I'm smart and you've always resented those who are smart.

One of the reasons why so many  people are accepted is because the Trudeau government has broadened the definition of what constitutes a refugee. When we signed the original treaty a refugee was someone fleeing persecution due to race, religion, ethnicity, or political views. We now accept refugees because they claim they're gay or trans (we have no way to challenge that and don't), or that as a woman, they face discrimination, or that there are wars and crime and violence in their homeland. This is very nice of us but it basically gives virtually everyone in the world outside Europe a valid claim for asylum.

Last year, 60k refugee applicants were accepted by the US and 75k to the UK as opposed to 120k in Canada.

Germany got the most refugee applicants in the EU with 37k last year. Canada got 157k.

YouTube is nowadays full of clips how Canada is losing its appeal for immigration. Well, there will always be more immigration than emigration for Canada.

However, when you look at the map you see that Canada is not on the way to somewhere. I mean you don't end up in Canada unless that is where you absolutely want to go to.

Canada is on the way to MANY places.  The map  has nothing to do with it - it's easy to get into canada and once you're in canada it's much easier to get to  a lot of other places.  Depending where you're coming from the US, the UK or any commonwealth like zealand or aussi, and other places as well are all now easier jumps.

And we risk becoming a filter for the unskilled who can't move on.

Already some displaced families that came to Canada are living in tents. And another 90,000 people are expected in the next 60 days

It will likely only get worse: the feds anticipate 90,000 newcomers from Ukraine will land in Canada in the next two months.

What can I say?  Hopefully they all die in some cataclysmic Canadian event, so the world sees we cannot take care ofthem and they stop coming.

Otherwise our messed up politicians will keep flying them in by the thousands.
