What many have suspected has now been confirmed by this newspaper and a few courageous Canadians: pro-Palestine — and, increasingly, pro-Hamas — protestors are being paid to protest.  To block highways and roads.  To intimidate and threaten Jews and non-Jews.  To cause chaos.

 

So here's the deal - the cbc and the feds freaked out when they thought that the convoy might be getting foreign money (it really wasn't turns out) and there was talk of new laws and such.

MIllions and millions apparently are being spent on these protests. Where is the cbc's outrage and gov't outrage now?

Funny enough it seems that it is getting billions.

Although i'm not sure we can count on hamas to follow the letter of our labour laws

I know it's almost reflex for those on the Left to dismiss anything coming from the Sun. But a little googling of the names involved, particularly the wealthy Americans mentioned, produces a report from the New York Times revealing the many ties to China of these two Marxists, and how they've been working as China's mouthpieces and funneling money into various non-profits in pursuit of China's aims in the United states. There's a similar report about what they've been doing in India.

Thousands of pro Palestinian/Hamas protesters gathered in New  York to protest against... a cancer treatment center that they say is 'complicit in genocide'... Let that sink in for a minute. Why would so many people target a cancer treatment center? Because a Jewish billionaire donated $400m to them. And this Jewish billionaire had earlier denounced the antisemitic statements from some Harvard student associations and vowed not to hire anyone from them.

Therefore, the cancer treatment center is 'complicit in genocide'. That's as nutty as our local anti-semites on this site and their illogical and laughably inept denunciations of Israel and 'zionism', which they piously insist has nothing to do with Jews.

Now, regardless of what you think of the Palestinian/Israeli issue this probably strikes you as batshit crazy. So how do you get thousands of people to protest there unless someone is paying them?

Well there's no doubt someone's paying them. That's not actually illegal and some groups have disclosed it as well, although exactly where they got the money from is more of a question mark.

Iran needed all of that money to keep women in prison who don't wear the hijab, to fund rocket attacks by Hamas, and to fund pro-Hamas protests. 

Unless of course it's Soros funding them protests. I don't know why he wouldn't: he already funds the Dems...
