Are you SO FCKING STUPID to think that it is cheaper to live in New York State (with HIGH STATE INCOME TAXES, HIGH GASOLINE TAXES, ETC) than it is to live in Florida, (with NO state income tax, a BALANCED BUDGET, and very low-if any gasoline taxes)?

So there have been a few exceptions to the rule when it comes to conservatives and corporate interests. So yeah, this used to be an exception for the American Right.

As for the first federal civil rights act, do you mean the civil rights act of 1866? That happened before the party switch. And yes, I know the party switch has been somewhat exaggerated, but during this time the Republicans were to the Left of the Democrats.
