Agree with others: if you want to be effective, let your filter flag word when it is typed. I have an update to made to the forum software, maybe it was a bug that will be fixed in this new version. That's new. To me anyway. I can actually specific if the "bad word" is "blanked out" with **** or whether the word stops the post completely (and you're asked to edit) - depending on the word. I still need to update all the words to be blanked out, rather than restricting the act of posting. But again, I recognize the members can still make adjustments to the word, getting creative with symbols and characters - but that's life.
