Do you file taxes? Do you vote? Do you have a PAL to own a firearm? Do you have a regular passport?

I also shop, travel, go to social events, church, theatre etc.

These are things I do by right. Or at least it feels that way. 

What you're talking about are privileges you apply for with the exception of taxes. But as mentioned before income tax was originally supposed to be temporary. Also Social Insurance cards were something you originally got if you wanted a pension or unemployment benefits.

Restrictions and power of the permit gets added to.

As mentioned Vaccine permits are currently only used by the private sector.

Did you know they have an app now that will communicate with other phones to check on each others health and vaccine status? If you're within 6 feet of each other they can be having a conversation you're unaware of until they contact you to tell whether or not that person is OK to be that close to.

It's just playtime right now but imagine if that gets hooked up to a public federal database.

And speaking of a federal database. These would include private information. Who can hook into it? Theatres? Sporting events? Restaurants? Potential landlords? Creditors? Chi-Comms?

My impression is supporters of permit controls might like to beat their chests and bleat about their superior virtue but it isn't so much care as control they're really pushing for.

They don't seem so very worried about the problems of those they want control over.

Why are they all the time wanting to make comparisons to things that aren't comparable?

OK to be fair everybody does it on occasion but with the prog it's pretty much an M.O.

Have you ever filled out a customs form in any country? Do you ever drive across the border? If you have you are in their data base as well. Do you own any US dollar securities? If so there is an IRS withholding on any earnings so they know about you as well.

If businesses and countries are going to require proof of vaccination, the best way to do it is with a document common to all of them, otherwise you end up with people trying to palm off those BS mask exemption cards that people were manufacturing last year. 

You have to make comparisons if you are trying to communicate with people who are continually worrying about the boogeyman under the bed.

You should stop carrying a smart phone and stay off the internet, or at least delete all cookies every ten minutes, they are spreading more information about you than any vaccine passport ever would.
